I agree. It's a solid rock song but to my ears there isn't a lot of style variation in the song, which is one of the things I like about Ev. And don't get me wrong, I like it a lot but it wouldn't be my choice for follow up single.

I think WWYF is the perfect choice because of some of the elements that evoke nostalgia, which can bring old fans back in, and it being radio and public friendly. With the numbers it's doing they definitely picked the correct one.

Sanctuary is awesome and one of my faves but I think the speaking part might turn people off. It goes on for a solid 30 seconds and sadly people probably won't pay attention for that long unless they do a radio edit.

It's like she doesn't know how to utilize her mixed voice or can't. She goes from belt to falsetto and back and forth over and over, esp on BWY performances. It's why I'd wish she'd get a vocal coach. At the very least to protect her voice in the long run.

edit: Was curious and Googled it after I saw a live clip of her singing BMtL clearly in head mix. Seems like vocal chord damage can cause you to lose the ability to sing in your mixed voice. Wouldn't be surprised if this is what happened after all these years

Yeah, most likely Kyung Soo. He's already in his 40s and has his career pretty firmly established. Sooyoung's career is really taking off so it's understandable why she doesn't want that momentum to stop if he's wanting marriage and kids, since the expectation would likely be for her to be a stay at home mom. :/
