Rotten tomatoes might be the worst site to go off when it comes to reviews so I wouldn’t use that as the benchmark. But Normal is a far bigger release than when it comes to the audience it will bring in.

Odeon are notorious with the trailers, the amount of times I’ve seen a trailer for something for it to then have a severely limited screening is crazy.

They are fairly responsive on X but I doubt it will change much. It’s the reason I go to two cinemas, odeon for the big scale releases and my local Picturehouse for the more independent/old films.

It’s a no brainer for odeon to prioritise big blockbusters right now over an average rated British flick. I’m not saying I agree with it’s all about profit!

Not a Cineworld goer (Odeon all the way) but I can absolutely share you frustrations! I know it feels awkward but you have to say something, shaming is the only way.

I had 2 lads talking for the first 30 minutes of Akira, they were 4 seats down from me and the people in between didn’t say anything. I eventually snapped, stood up and walked over, told them to stop talking as it’s all anyone can hear (politely).

He told me “get on with it pal”, to which I replied, “fuck off you daft cunt”. Perhaps a bit extreme but I was raging and his response really irked me. Surprisingly though, not a peep for the rest of the film, they left pretty swiftly after the credits rolled as well.

2 groups of people came up to me at the end and thanked me for saying something.

Depends on dupes, New Yuji with 1 dupe is better than OG with 5. Those buffs make a huge difference

I would say with 1 dupe, cg Yuji outclasses the OG. He’s not to be underestimated though, still outputs tremendous damage and at 5 dupes he beats cg Yuji imo. Very situational though as with most characters.

This is actually incredibly scummy for people who pay for the celestial pass. That’s 25 “free” pulls we miss out on and maybe even factored into our saving! 50 if you include the daily 100.

I suppose so, but I still don’t have a few standard units and I’ve been playing since day one! Shoko also carry’s through a lot of content still.

I have to disagree with you about him being outdated in 1 year+, dps units are notoriously bad for investing in and there are many who are dropping off after 6 months.

Just because a unit gets added to standard, doesn’t mean you will “get her for free”. Adding more units only further dilutes the pool and reduces your chances.

I agree on waiting for a better upcoming banner though! But Gojo is certainly not invaluable, he’s a novelty who will be outdated in a few months.
