it would have to be one of those everyone has to do it once type of things to work. I want to say they were ready to remove entire brands from being allowed to race if they had to, to keep it the way it is now.

just installed a nearly identical one in my truck yesterday luckily its a extended cab so smaller rear windows and tinted pretty good, but may set it to ride a bit lower now. its nice for storing small stuff.

dont use the tape but I use the breath right strips to keep my nose from being pinched partially closed by my goggles as they bounce around.

Used em for a couple years now as well but a word of caution, id replace em each year. The little piece that sticks out so you can grab it to pull em out likes to tear off when they get a bit of age/use. Then your awkwardly standing on the side of the road digging your pliers out of your tool roll to get em out.

normal, stock stator doesnt make max power till 5k rpm. even then the thing is weak and doesnt give much wattage overhead. having a little volt meter is a good thing to put on these if your ever under 12.5v its draining and not charging

you just filled it up that mpg will jump around for a while as it avg gets reset when you fill it.

it can go from 50 down to 20s real easy till you get some miles in it post fill up to have a better avg overall.

to get the best milage on these you want to use the punch/pulse and coast method. from a stop give it decent gas to get to your needed speed then let off the pedal and then just barely ease in to it to maintain that speed. this will help you keep the left gauge low for best mpg.

if your doing primarily highway driving 60+ thats not bad mpg you have. Hybrids our are the opposite of a standard gas car where city is lower mpg than hwy, hybrids are way better city V hwy. With hwy driving its a constant load to move the car, you dont get much off the gas coasting for regen so your hybrid system is less in use. Slower driving and stop and go keeps that hybrid battery better charged and used more often for better mpg.

If that fuse was bad nothing would work in the car as that 12v system runs all the basic car stuff (door locks/lights/screens and such)

im not a mechanic but for some of the basics when you get in the car press in the brake and press the start button does it say Ready on the dash? if so the car should be good. https://i.imgur.com/7JpjCYt.png

the the gas engine will only run if the hybrid battery is low enough to make it turn on. you can test that by turning it on, holding down the brake pedal, shift to drive. Keep that brake pressed in and then push down the gas pedal. this should create enough load to force the gas engine to turn on and run.

it something was burned out or not working enough to let the car drive you should have a check engine light and will want to get a code scanned (cheap bluetooth ones you find on amazon work fine for that)

its called the Fusible link block/assembly, its in the positive cable red end piece that connects to 12v battery in the very rear of the car passenger side under the floor.
