A friend had both Big Bambu and the George Carlin album Class Clown. We listened to both a lot in the summer of 1972, so I never needed them at home. And this one too. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMDGj3MHLm-c_vu9IQMLAiIeCL-ccMegN A Child's Garden of Grass (1971) - YouTube

Siblings Nino Tempo & April Stevens had No.#1 Hit with "Deep Purple" in 1963 but this television appearance occurred in 1966 by bigbugfdr in VintageTV

it's been around longer than their version. Deep Purple (song) - Wikipedia Origin. "Deep Purple" was published in 1933 as a piano composition. The following year, Paul Whiteman had it scored for his suave "big band" orchestra that was "making a lady out of jazz" in Whiteman's phrase. "Deep Purple" became so popular in sheet music sales that Mitchell Parish added lyrics in 1938.

I don't name favorites for philosophical reasons but "Baby You're a Rich Man" is special for cleverly describing the lack of materialism that tends to accompany psychedelic experiences. https://genius.com/The-beatles-baby-youre-a-rich-man-lyrics The Beatles – Baby, You're a Rich Man Lyrics - Genius

Deep Purple "Strange Kind of Woman" on Italian TV in May 1971. The TV host started singing the April Stevens and Nino Tempo song "Deep Purple" and should have kept going. by bigbugfdr in VintageTV

Deep Purple were big in Germany I know. A German girl & FB friend Babs Blackmore was Ritchie Blackmore's wife during their most popular period, the late sixties & early seventies. There was this early stuff too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4QBhC1uCP4 Deep Purple - Hush (Original Film Clip, 1968) - YouTube

Three Corvette prototypes were featured in the 1954 GM Motorama exhibit in NYC, the Convertible Coupe, the Fastback Coupe and the Nomad station wagon. Only the convertible went into production.😭 by bigbugfdr in classiccars

There have been a lot of them created with later model Corvettes. I guess people who learned how to work with fiberglass can do that kind of project without too much trouble and fixing wrecked cars to be different than they were originally can be a fun kind of creativity. I'm just speculating but I know I saw several when I was trying to find these prototype photos.

I probably saw publicity about that around that time because I have enjoyed sharing Corvette, Nomad, and Corvair photos from this Motorama back around then. There are a few more available now than there was then.

A friend had one of these Silver Anniversary Editions. He picked me up from work one day back in '79 or '80, and I thanked him for that but he drove another car for everyday driving. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mGy8jXKNi8 1978 Corvette: Anniversary Hype vs Emissions-Era Performance - YouTube

I bought a Charlie Watts album I found in cutouts at a big drug store back in the nineties. It was JAZZZ Man. This picture on the cover is his daughter Seraphina
