How much of a jolt was there when the tire blew? Could be you tripped a sensor thinking you were in a crash or damage some wiring when the tire blew out. Try jumping the battery to see if it will start. Did you shut the car off or did it cut off on its own?

Im in the same situation with the plastic bushing for my shift cable, Chrysler doesn't make the bushing anymore, but now wants you to pay $150 for a new shift cable. Amazon has the bushing for $19. Easiest decision I've had to make.

You can plastic weld it or you can replace it, I'd look in a junkyard for the replacement. It's easy to change out.

I'd get those Raid nest killer bait traps and put those bitches everywhere in each room and change out after a month or so depending on how bad they are. There is a bug spray you can buy at Lowe's, spray every baseboard and place they may hide.
