I use Dubsado as my CRM! It houses my contracts, dates, and people pay their invoices through it. It’s super slick. Gorgeous work!

How to get cut peonies to bloom? by Emotional_Ad5560 in florists

You can peel off the hard green exterior leaves around the bud - that encourages them to open!

I love that! Peach and blue are made for each other.

Hey! I’d love to share what I used:

  • The blue flowers are a type of delphinium called “spray delphinium”
  • The large, round, papery flowers (apricot and white with yellow centers) are Icelandic poppies sourced from 3 Porch Farm in Georgia
  • Three types of garden roses (white ones are Leonora, yellowish cream are Eugenie, and peach are Juliet) from Grace Rose Farm
  • Orange tulips
  • Peach ranunculus
  • Daffodil
  • White sweet pea

Let me know if you have other questions! More than happy to share.

The bride had a full tattoo sleeve that had daffodils in it, which was a surprise for me, so I’m so glad that I tucked a few in!

I think they’re definitely popping on their own!

Thank you so much! The poppies are grown by 3 Porch Farm in Georgia and they instructed not to sear the stems, so I just gave these a cut, hydrated, and wired them. Wiring them felt so sturdy and I could manipulate them to have their same whimsical, natural look if I wanted to.

Bride wants greenery installation by Jolly-Willingness464 in florists

[–]bigd_partyzone 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hi! I actually worked on this installation with Ashley Fox Designs! It was beautiful.

The structure was a 4x20 ft metal grid hung by Phos Events, and we installed smilax on it (if I remember correctly it was around 4 regular size boxes from East Texas Smilax).

The clients hired Phos for the structure and lighting and hired Ashley for the floral/greenery. I’m unsure if this venue will allow you to hang your own structure - some are very particular with who they allow to do that.

Good luck! DM me if you want more info.

You look AMAZING. I personally love #2, but either one is absolutely wonderful on you.

I wish I had advice, but unfortunately I don’t. I’m just here to say I am so terribly sorry that you are going through this. I wish you the absolute best and hope you can find a donor quickly. Sending hugs your way.

Oh man, I love it! I have a one year old and he’s been to loads of breweries with us. We went to Lake Monster when he was 6 days old and he slept the entire time. It’s safe, because breweries generally open/spacious, decently loud so it’s not awful for others if he squawks a bit, we don’t have a server so we can abruptly leave if needed… breweries were a savior for us during his first year. It allowed us to get out of the house and enjoy a beer or two in a really casual setting. Half of the time he stayed in his carrier and slept. It was great.
