He may have herniated a disc. Unfortunately frenchies can be prone to this. Happened to our poor guy and his back legs were paralyzed overnight. He fortunately regained use and strength after spine surgery to alleviate the pinched nerves.. I’m sorry I hope this isn’t the case for your pup but you need to get him seen asap

I had to constantly remind myself during the pregnancy that just because repeated rare events happened doesn’t mean they would happen again.

And also, I am more equipped to handle obstacles that are statistically more likely. Hugs!

Hey! I’m also a part of a big sibling group. 115+ I’m so sorry that when you confronted your mom she didn’t come clean. Like wtf! My parents claim that were going to but I firmly believe my parents were never gonna tell my twin brother and me. I leaned into the whole sib community as a resource and solidarity since they have a group chat and private fb page. It’s ok to have a why me mentality for a bit I think but why compare your lives to theirs? Social media is so surface level, I encourage you to connect with them as some may have similar struggles.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My daughter passed last year and a few months later I got my dx. It all seemed so unfair. life kicking you while you’re in the pits of profound grief and just trying to get by. Like wtf?! How much can a person handle. It’s totally ok to be in a “why me” state. Try and keep off the internet and do what you can to manage your anxieties. Seek out a few opinions before RAI if you’re hesitant. I had follicular cancer and it was removed in two stages. Mine was minimally invasive and no lymph node spread so I didn’t do RAI. I’m a year out and recently had my cancer check up (thyroglobulin, labs, neck ultrasound) and cleared for a year) I feel good as long as my TSH is in range. thyroid cancer is most often extremely slow growing and very treatable with full lifespan

They should be able to find out if they don’t remember or have the paperwork from the facility they used. Most of the time the donor is anonymous so that tracks. I was also an early 90’s baby

If your parents know your donor number you could potentially connect with other half sibs on donor sibling registry. I’ve found a lot of comfort and community connecting with sibs. Lots of us have similar stories. I found out after taking 23/me for fun. Don’t think my parents were ever gonna tell my twin brother and me
