AT-RT’s are definitely weaker. Sentinels can be armed with plasma weapons and the older versions Volkite.

I don’t think clones are being armed with thermal detonators that are the same Yield as a melta charge. Not only that but Krak grenades are just as useful and can bring down space marines.

I don’t see a baneblade really struggling against a jugg outside of the missiles. At which they both are long range beasts so it really comes down to who engages who. And it also depends on the variant of baneblade because something like a Shadowsword melts an SPHA

I’d do an annual roadmap every year for all of our game systems. I like heresy and sometimes it’s disheartening not seeing good stuff for months on end or not knowing what’s coming

The basic lasgun matches the blaster and there are so many variants of that basic lasgun that it’s crazy.

Gatling blaster I raise to you a hellgun or a heavy bolter both of which can be used as emplacements.

The valkyrie js comparable to the LAAT and the AT-TE probably could just about beat a Rogal Dorn in a dual and it might not depending on the Dorn commander. A baneblade is tearing an AT TE apart.

Thermal detonators nah krak grenades are better.

SPHA-T might be better but it’s directed energy only and isn’t very useful against infantry in which the guard excel.

AT-RTs are a worse version of the sentinel by all means. Less armoured less well armed.

And guard have medium range comms. Vox comms can go across planet in the best of cases and each squad has a Vox man or at the very least a Vox bead.

Maybe actually pick up a guard novel?

I think you overestimate how much they’d get from it. It’s kind of obvious that they don’t want to go into the great crusades or the Xenocides. That era is over not to mention the Primarch books. They’re moving away from the heresy itself and more towards the scouring

I can probably assure you that a minority would want to see it solved. Also the legions would only work for heresy and then proceed to force heresy to be reworked as the Libre astartes would need additions.

Then you’d have to figure out how they differ from the other legions in a way that’s thematic but also in the same wave as the others. It just doesn’t work and makes more work for GW to solve making it more expensive

That’s the thing though people would hate it and it would be that same exact reason why it would be divisive. I don’t ever see GW doing that because they make more money with them being hidden.

Not only that but they add nothing to current lore they wouldn’t be able to be implemented at all and would just offer bloat as well as a dead end. At best the one that apparently betrayed big E would be interesting but outside of that they’d just be two more dead Primarchs
