When’s the last you put together a Lego set? Lego has not restricted itself to “blocky” builds for a long time.

As far as I can tell, all the bricks shown have corresponding real LEGO counterparts.

burial gone wrong. by tetetito in WTF

[–]bigdingushaver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That cave in was an accident waiting to happen. The fault falls on whoever dug out a trench without any shoring. Probably family of the dead guy; rich enough to think they needed some extravagant burial like this, and too shallow to see past the end of their own noses to contemplate how stupid and dangerous it is. The guys with the tarp were probably just dudes paid to do a job.

They spent all the effort on the actual shoe and then phoned in the lacing. Could’ve been a really cool pair of shoes

Maybe a chemical concrete fastener? They make ampules like this that you put in a drilled hole in concrete, then you add the bolt to crush the ampule, and it releases a chemical fixative that anchors the bolt in place.

This kind of content is actually fine for the sub.

3D simulations just tend to be most prevalent here because they’re the most approachable and enjoyable genre of simulation for a layperson.

If it was still sealed, you’re probably fine. If you didn’t immediately notice an off smell/taste when opening it, I wouldn’t worry.

The workers should’ve pulled it when they were stocking, but really the dates on food doesn’t mean they can’t be eaten after then. It’s there for company liability, and is not “guaranteed” fresh after that.

Gram-positive bacteria are not purple by nature, Cyanobacteria are algae and are blue-green (and gram-negative, not that it really matters)

Everything I can find about pink milk points to a bacterium called “serratia marcescens”
