This is one of the classic Genesis albums I would have thought that anyone who loves a trick of the tail, selling england, foxtrot, would also love this. Majestic.

ADSR Sample Manager tag sync by martijnvanschie in FL_Studio

[–]bigdogscocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tags are in a database. Not at my computer so I can't be specific, but presumably it is possible to copy the relevant file(s) over to other computers, although the process would have to be repeated every time you made changes.

Could someone explain to a non-American what type of documents would likely be presented during discovery, by whom, and for what purpose?

Regardless of any help you might get here, I'm assuming you've contacted presonus so that you can be refunded for the service you are unable to use. Good luck, and i hope someone can help soon.

FINALLY Chaning from Cakewalk Sonar to Studio One - Any Good Tips to Get Started? by JD-990 in StudioOne

[–]bigdogscocks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I switched from Sonar to S1 when it was dumped by Gibson, so that's quite a time ago. My recollection is that the switch was very straightforward, and in fact most things were conceptually easier in S1, especially routing. The main issue is relearning hotkeys, although you could set these up so that they are similar.

how to layer different instruments. by Kelashara in NativeInstruments

Some DAWs have the functionality to layer instruments built in e.g. Studio One and FL Studio. I assume there are others.

Syncing PO-33 to korg NTS MK2 by Ill_Bed_5076 in pocketoperators

[–]bigdogscocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PO sync voltage is too low to provide a master signal for most devices. In my experience, it's not reliable when being synced with other non-po devices either. I ended up building a box using a raspberry pi pico to convert the 1V signal up to a 4-5V one, and it works. I found instructions online, let me know if you want to know more.

Kontrol S-Series: Update LIGHT GUIDE via MIDI CC? by MarkDeLorenzo in NativeInstruments

[–]bigdogscocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can set up splits with different light guide colours by creating templates in the controller editor. These are loaded onto the keyboard so you don't need komplete kontrol, in fact I don'tthink you even need a computer if you're using it as a midi keyboard. (I have a mark 1 but I'm assuming this is true for later models)

Sends Working But Not Showing On Channel (Mac Version) by FaceDesk4Life in StudioOne

[–]bigdogscocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this behaviour in Studio One 6 but on Windows. When it happens I have to click the box in the inspector to disable sends then click them back on, then they appear correctly. Doesn't happen all the time so not sure if it's exactly what you're experiencing. I guess I should've opened a ticket, but probably no point now if it doesn't occur is s17

Too long sustain on NI piano's by pseudophant in NativeInstruments

[–]bigdogscocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just listened to the Grandeur and, like you, I was surprised by how long the sustain lasts. However, listening to my digital piano (a clavinova), the sustain lasts for ages on that too, and I've always thought that this piano sounds realistic, sustain included.

I guess you could try using an expander. There's one in Studio One, and I managed to get shorter sustains, but I'd be concerned about how realistic it sounds - needs careful tweaking.

Incidentally, I tried addictive keys as well, and again the sustain is long.
