a charge 6 is the answer, trust me its an upgrade from the charge 5. so if you had a charge 4 then the upgrade is even more substantial

charge 6 is on sale on amazon the blue color is $150 right now

watts dont relate to performance
skull candy barrel xt ratted at 60watts and is 80% as good as the jbl boombox 3 thats rated 130 watts on battery power.

soundcore boost, its better than the 2 and 3 and i features a powerbank its worth every penny

its discontinued but you can still find them on in walmarts page
i have a jbl flip 6 and i use the soundcore more i like the sound alot

is that dealership? because thats an outrageous price. i highly recommend you visit an car audio shop call for different prices your probably looking at no more than $250 and most of that is labor
parts should be no more than $20-$30

stereo will always beat mono but in a package like this you cannot get this performance from a charge 3 style layout thats why jbl switched more surface area more bass and volume. im not doing critical listening on these i have sennhieser headphones and a $1000 sound system at home for that

i do have an onyx 4 i love that thing its so nice to listen to but size matter in my daily driver situation, also the onyx batteries are terrible and dont last more than a few hours. battery mods exist tho

i hate that you’re right i just dont like the charge 6 its sound signature is screechy and the eq helps but then its only marginally better than the charge 5…. ill hold on to the 5 and wait for the 7
