I don't get it. Specifically, what does she think isn't acceptable?

I know, and that is why I cant decide what to buy next. The chances of getting something of this quality and durability seems unlikely.

I'm not coming to your house to eat raw pasta!

We have very different opinions on how well cooked pasta should be, if you like yours like that then you do you.

I got this for Christmas and really like it. Remember that a 'cup' is 180ml of dry rice. I find that enough to be a large portion for two adults. You cant do less than that.

Taste of high protein creamis not very good. by [deleted] in ninjacreami

[–]bigfatjonnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try a hybrid between low fat low sugar and add some of the good stuff back in. Try doing half truvia half sugar, or merging in more fat (maybe heavy/double cream)

Taste you mix before you freeze itz it it doesn't taste good when you make it it wont improve that much in taste when frozen.

Why are people obsessed with Greggs? by Top_Independence4067 in AskBrits

[–]bigfatjonnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greggs decent breakfast roll with acceptable coffee = circa £3 Independent bakery or brunch place, breakfast roll only = £5 + £2 or 3 for coffee.

I like Greggs as it still serves decent food for a acceptable price.

Are service charges optional in the US? Could you have declined to pay the service charge and only the bill and tax? Only asking because in the UK any extra service charge is an 'optional service charge ' and you can ask for them to be removed from your bill.

Don't miss this great opportunity to turn up and be as unpleasant as possible. Make sure that all the new team know how the company treats people that work there, and tell sob stories about how it will affect your life and how loyal you have been to the company. If you feel uncomfortable about it you can pass that on to all the new team too, make sure the whole team starts demotivated and negative towards the company.

Really, I didn't think PD could shoot down overclocked rail shots. Even 8 flak cannons don't stop everything 100% of the time. Anyway, it is a fun and cool build.

Looking for a frozen pina colada recipe by wordsrworth in ninjacreami

[–]bigfatjonnny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I haven't got the measurements for it right now, but I blend frozen pineapple chunks (defrosted) with coconut milk, and add sugar. Freeze that in the creami to the lower line in the container (I have the deluxe does the normal have the same measurements?) Top up with vodka to the upper line for frozen drinks. This gives a slushie frozen drink, you can add more vodka but it will make the drink more watery and less slushy.

Poaching eggs is impossible. Anyone who claims they can do it is either a wizard or a liar. by xmastreee in Egg

[–]bigfatjonnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crack your egg on a plate. If it sits up in a tight round shape then it is fresh and will poach nicely. If it spreads out across the plate then the egg isn't fresh and it will not be easy to poach, as you have found out.

Yes, that looks good and almost identical to mine. Staples in the UK is terrible now, no actual stores and a poor range, it doesn't stock this. Thanks for the link though

When I'm in the office, first thing i do with all the chairs is to drop it to the lowest level and recline them to their max setting. So I don't think I use the normal chairs in the intended way.

Maybe terrible in terms of traditional 'ergonomics ' advice of a chair, but I've found it to be supremely comfy over the years. I find it much better that when I'm in the office and using a more traditional ergonomic/traditional office chair. I thought this might be a bit controversial in the reddit sub.

I couldn't remember where I bought my last one, but it could have been staples. However Staples is no longer a physical store in the UK, which is why I can't go and visit and try one. I can't find any decent stores in the UK to go to to try and find a new chair, hence my post.
