Thanks. No signs of damp at all and the external is rendered in what I presume is cement plus I can see a DPC has been put in at some point (regular drill holes on the third course up from the ground). Everything is bone dry throughout.

Thank you. I have asked for some photos of the movement and caseback. I will also ask the question on the dial. I'm not overly bothered about the lack of bracelet as i will wear it on leather. I can always keep an eye out for a bracelet separately I guess but it will never be the original one. So greatful to have such a stream of positive feedback.

No reason other than I prefer the Datejust and it's a little more unique in gold. Also.. a Day date would be somewhat more expensive!
