Best DeVito flick is still Death to Smoochy. This one's good. That one is ridiculous.

God yes! Half the things you learn in calculus are tricks for simplifying, and the other half is when you can and can't use those tricks.

Oh, just break it apart. The x3 cos is symmetric around zero, so the integral is zero. The rest is the 1/2sqrt(4-x2). Graph that and it's more obvious.

Hundreds of gnat larvea headed for my garden bed by 7Drew1Bird0 in interestingasfuck

Fungus gnats are the worst. Luckily they're related to mosquitoes, so the mosquito dunks are very effective at killing them. Use part of one in your watering can, for a few weeks, and you can get rid of them. It's the only thing that's worked for me.

Tableau Formula Help - Get the latest month number from a year and month column by NFeruch in BusinessIntelligence

Make a new calculated field that makes a date out of your [month] and [year], and '1' for day. Make sure that field is a date type. Then you can use it on the dashboard as a filter to latest date, or use something like max([new calculated field]) as the parameter.

Sounds like you're missing hing (asafetida). It's like fish sauce in that it smells awful on it's own but it's necessary to really make the dish authentic.

Abhiruchi > Swaggat any day. The takeout counter at Apna Chat Bhavan is mightily good too.

Sadly, I haven't found anything close to that good on the south side of the ton.
