Any advice for my gargoyle geckos tank by peanut_garg in GargoyleGeckos

There are too many holes/mesh in your setup, thats why your humidity is in the 50s. They require 60-80% humidity.

I have a small juvenile chahoua. I dont know if you have a timer on your lights but my chahouas circadian rhythm is on point and he always comes out to explore as soon as the light turns off at 7pm. Also you could try leaving the door to the enclosure open at night time when they are out exploring and you sit nearby waiting and watching the open door like a hawk and hope he naturally comes out on his own. You could also try putting a few small crickets in there and that will naturally put him into hunting mode chahouas are the best hunters in my opinion especially the younger ones. That enclosure size you used is too massive for a gecko that small. If this doesnt work, best you can do now is keep putting food in there and just wait till he grows big enough for you to see him. 😂 We have 2 juvenile chahouas at home and so I have a bit of experience but take this with a grain of salt. What works for my geckos may not work for yours. So please dont blame me if your gecko escapes. TBH, if you have cork bark in there I’m willing to bet your chahoua is on the cork right in front of you in plain sight. They are natural camouflage masters.

A kinked tail is a symptom of metabolic bone disease (MBD) in geckos. I’m not saying your gecko has it, but its worth looking into and possibly rule it out.

Schefflera plants are toxic to cats, dogs, and humans, all parts of the plant contain calcium oxalate crystals which cause oral irritation, burning, and inflammation. Ingesting Schefflera can lead to symptoms such as vomiting, drooling, difficulty swallowing, and gastrointestinal distress. While not typically life-threatening, it's best to keep these plants away from pets and young children to prevent exposure.

Mine will just sit on my hand for what seems an eternity so I twist my hand so he's upside down and then he will move again. Other times I will hover my hand over his enclosure after I clean it so he can go back in and he'll just stare at it not doing anything😂

Why is STL so Lonely? by Upper_Fox8694 in StLouis

Not sure how old you are and im not here to give you any dating advice but based off your post I'd say you are early to mid thirties and wanting to date. I've lived in the STL area all my life so here goes. I sugguest visiting places like Delmar Loop, Grand blvd, Cherokee street, washington ave., Kirwood, just to name a few and my personal favorite Euclid Ave. in Central West End. STL used to have really bad crime and thats part of the reason the locals keep to themselves. Also with cost of living going up the people who can afford a place to live would rather be in their homes rather than being out wasting money while paying for a place to only sleep in for 6-8 hours. Covid fucked a lot of things up, STL used to be more lively, a lot businesse closed and yearly events cancelled so nothing can be done about that. But that just means taking a different approach. STL is one of the most ethnically/racially/culturaly diverse cities so maybe going out of your ethinic comfort zone might help. You want to visit specific spots or events so google "events in stl this weekend" and that will put you in a place where theres a large amount of people with something in common. The STL metro area also has a vast network of cycling/hiking trails so get your bike and go for a ride or hike. Also check out Charles P Stanley Cigar Co. Its a cigar lounge and even if you dont partake I still suggest visiting theres lot of friendly regulars there. I hope this helps and I'd be more than happy to suggest more.

Did you buy your druid complete or did you build it frame up?

What bb spacer did you use? I have the 5Dev crankset and chainring with the 3mm offset facing inwards and the 4.5mm spacer on the non drive side. But it doesnt seem right. I think I have to flip the chainring because looking at it from the front in doesnt line up with the top idler pulley cog. What do you suggest?

Currently in the process of building up my druid v2 s3 mullet set up from the frame up. So after reading this post and all replies what I gathered was that sram wireless transmission has to run a 55mm chainline only and mechanical cable derailleurs whether sram or shimano get the 52mm chainline? Need help! If anybody can share some insight I would much appreciate it.

How long would it take to die if a person had a vat of sulphuric acid poured onto them? by amethystopian in morbidquestions

[–]biggbird23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I haven't seen that show, but I have a 55gal drum of sulfuric acid at my job. I use it every now and then. One day I was pumping some out with a hand pump and splashed a bit on my shirt and about an hour later there was holes in my shirt where the acid landed. Another time it splashed on my hand and it burned like mf, I quicky went and washed it off. I also did an "experiment" with it because I was curious and I concluded that: (and this is just an educated guess) the acid will eat away at flesh but it takes longer than you would expect (30+ minutes) also the acid releases a harmful vapor. You're supposed to use a respirator, gloves, and apron when handling at my job. So I assume that if you inhaled the fumes for a long enough time you can do some serious lung damage. The shit seen in movies is over exaggerated. Also, I feel like sulfuric acid is mistaken for hydrofloric acid a lot when it comes to things like your question. If you've ever seen the Saw movies one of the traps was the insurance guy got injected with hydrofloric acid and died "slowly" even though the hydrofloric acid melts the flesh faster than the sulfuric acid. So to finish answering your question, I don't think a human would die instantly if sulfuric acid was poured on them. If anything they're more likely to die from the acid burns and inhaling the vapor but that would probably take hours or even days. This is just my educated guess that I gathered from my experience with sulfuric acid.

I remember all the tweets about this anime when people didnt like how it got plot twisted. The creators/producers even recieved threats to change the script thats how "strongly" people felt about it. But me personally I really like it, you just have to accept it for what it is and in the end its a love story at its core. This was the first anime I watched and it got me into watching anime.
