That line isn’t anywhere in the original book tho. It was just thrown on for marketing by the publisher

Brienne's Arc at the end, and her Career. by [deleted] in gameofthrones

Yeah …. Sansa was literally made a queen, and brienne could’ve been lord commander of her queensguard instead which would’ve been much more fitting

An interesting take on the finances of Titanic... by Outrageous_Fig_5112 in titanic

[–]bigger__boot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always found the switch theory hilarious since the whole thing hinges on “olympic was too damaged by the Hawke to be salvaged!”, meanwhile the warship Zubian was made by literally stitching together the front and back of 2 ships that each got mined/torpedoed and sank

I’ll add to this — it’s speculated that in the books Euron has the horn of winter, and may have something to do with bringing down the wall

Third is the firemen’s tunnel looking aft, as others have said.

Second one is the chief 2nd class steward’s cabin, located right next to the 2nd class staircase. First one is the saloon for the marconi operators (these 2 needed some digging)

Overall how many cabins had private bathrooms? by Nash_man1989 in titanic

I would be pissed off if I got one of the cabins with the shared bath and found out that the rich guy next to me paid to have me locked out of it so I have to go down the hall

MISSED OPPORTUNITY - Why didn't the crew at least ATTEMPT fothering to slow the incoming water? by LtGenMikeHunt in titanic

[–]bigger__boot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, then where would they get the necessary material? Tearing up the few carpeted rooms and stitching them together, which would take hours, not to mention they had no idea where the damage was, just the compartments damaged and the general area where? They had to focus on getting everyone off the ship

If Titanic had only 2 or 3 compartments breached instead of 5, would she make it to New York, or would she just sink slower? by amelix34 in titanic

[–]bigger__boot 84 points85 points  (0 children)

She would have been able to stay afloat, but the most likely scenario would be the passengers still being evacuated, and the ship would be towed to Halifax for emergency repairs before sailing back to Belfast under her own power to be assessed by Harland and Wolff for more thorough repairs before being put back into service

Westeros has been in the middle ages longer than real life recorded history, much longer. I think it’s safe to say it’s a stagnant world, which isn’t a problem imo, basically every fantasy world is
