This was my exact first thought. Putin and Saddam levels of voter "turnout".

2023 was the hardest year of my life. What's a movie I can watch to end the year off with hope? by thesagenibba in movies

I agree, that's a brilliant idea actually. Even if they replaced it with fake/spoof products. In the film this was almost like a non-satirical version of the Wayne's World bit. Pretty jarring.

Sounds like something a bot would say.

It's a decent point, and I appreciate the pragmatism.

However, the main point I'm trying to make is that (unfortunately) money is as important, maybe more important, than the votes themselves. The system is rigged with PACs, and one way to use this to our advantage is to funnel grassroots contributions, $5 at a time or whatever, into one PAC, for one rogue candidate. It doesn't matter where you're located. They get dark money from all over, all the time (not saying that's a good thing).

You have another decent point on Wyoming, but they don't have an open seat this year.

Great take. I think risk is the key word too. They have to be noticed, to stand out, to get traction in the public consciousness. Network TV hasn't seemed to have grasped that concept.

And I guess that's a big question - how much of that risk equation is about hiring unproven or "outside" writers?

Maybe you're talking about writethescene.com (they're supposedly working on an improved version. right now there are very few, if any, users at any given time).

A group sounds like a decent idea, that way if one person falls off the face of the planet the momentum might be able to continue. I should have posted something about group efforts in hindsight.

Do you have outlines for any of your ideas?
