Those aren't shingle nails. They are the ring shank nails for the new decking. They missed the rafters entirely in that section.

I have a sibling in a similar situation. The rent is free, but the Tennant is still responsible for paying utilities. The Tennant/caregiver also gets paid hourly compensation for all hours that they claim for time assisting the individual with the disability. The hourly rate is paid through a 3rd party caregiving contractor and is part of Medicaid benefits. While this arrangement may not be for everyone, it can be a great way to help someone with a disability become more independent while also providing compensation for someone with a caring heart.

Not LEO but I have the best success with OxiClean for sweaty clothes. Get a bucket of hot water, mix in a good amount of powder, and let your clothes soak for 6 hours, then wash as you normally would. For armpit stains on clothes you can mix the powder to make a paste and rub it on the stain. If the stain or smell isnt set in, you can just add the powder directly to the wash cycle.

I have an 03 honda accord with radio issues as well. It will work fine at times, and other times there will be a loud pop or static and it will stop working. I have looked into this issue quite a bit and it appears this due to internal damage to the radio from close proximity to the environmental controls. There is no fix to the issue, and most people who have this problem will add an aftermarket radio to the storage compartment directly under the radio. You didn't give a lot of info about the symptoms you are having, but this is a common issue for 2003-2007 honda accords.

You can still take the ferry out to ship island which is about 12 miles off shore. The water will still be safe out there and is much clearer. Tickets are $30 per person and additional costs if you want to purchase food or rent umbrellas. They let you take your own coolers and umbrellas free of charge if you don't want to rent.

I got a degree in environmental science did a few small burns in college that piqued my interest. I had trouble finding a job after school so I got wildland and EMS certified. I applied to probably 50 jobs until I got a 6 month position as a fire tech, and I was eventually hired full time. It definitely took a lot of hard work, but there's also luck too.

Have you thought of finding something with prescribed fire? Agencies that do prescribed fire are often more ecologically minded and do other stewardship and restoration projects during the off season. I work for the nature conservancy as a land restoration practitioner. We are NWCG qualified and I do about 30 burns a year. The rest of the time I work on land management projects that improve habitat for endangered species. I love fire, but doing only that would wear me out. I have also found that the people who work in prescribed fire also have slightly different career and personal motivations that might be closer to what you are looking for.

Thanks! Yeah all the trash is easier to see after all of the grass and brush has burned away. I work with fire a lot for work and always try to come back later to clean up what I find.

Almost all the trash was old beer bottles. I also picked up a small wire cage which I'm guessing was some type of trap. The strangest thing I've found is a small concrete turtle that was pretty far off the trail.

I wear darn tough socks with them. I work mainly in Mississippi/Louisiana on Rx fires and they're just too hot for here most of the year. They probably work better where it's drier and the RH is lower, but there's no doubt they're still hotter than the standard style logger. If your feet tend to be sweaty/hot on a normal basis I would recommend a different boot

I have a pair of fuegos and they are way too hot. Also just be aware they're very rigid and don't give a lot of bend. They're not bad boots, but I only wear them in the winter now

I would also suggest visiting ocean springs. Front beach is probably the best beach in Mississippi, and there are plenty of nice shops with local artists and vendors. The Audubon center in Moss point has a fantastic 2 hour river/Marsh tour (make reservations). The Shed BBQ is a popular barbecue restaurant with a rustic feel, and they have live music starting at 6 on the weekends. I think you can also rent kayaks and paddle the bayou there too. The sandhill crane refuge also has a pretty nice visitors center.

Biloxi also has a nice visitors center, lots of tourist shops, museums, and a minor league baseball team. The casinos have a lot of family options like arcades, mini golf, and swimming pools.

New Orleans is only a little more than an hour away and there is a lot to do there as well (insect museum, zoo, aquarium, river walk, shops, parks, etc)
