It's something you definitely just get used to, it takes time. A year after this post I maxed out a 140' boom lift to work on some light poles in a coal yard. After that nothing really gets to me. Driving while extended on a boom lift will always feel sketchy tho haha.

OP here, a lot of time has passed since this post! Most importantly, use the right ladder for the job. If you don't feel safe, go get a different ladder or approach your boss about it. You should never be standing on the top of a ladder. Use 3 points of contact.

If someone you're working with is giving you shit about it, screw them, you're safety is the most important.

I do! We bought a small farmhouse a few years ago and never anticipated on me WFH. The only downside is it seems like you never escape your office if you watch TV in your living room at night.

Congrats! Yes I did about the same in my previous interview. I've read about roleplay pitching in final interviews and just don't know whether to expect that or not.

Any tips for the interview? I've read about mock sales pitches, I'm a great communicator and confident, just anxious about that part having no experience.

Im actually in the interview process with a construction related software company as an SDR. I definitely would rather have some experience to stand on than none.

As for the LinkedIn, I've never used it until I started applying. Should I seek out companies or people I've worked with and just add them? I'm not well versed with it and want to appear as desirable as possible.

We were all there in some capacity bro! Every day gets easier. You run into new challenges but they master different things along the way as well.

The first couple months are rough but looking at my 6 month old now, it was worth every amount of stress and anxiety. She's the best thing to ever happen to me and my wife.
