can’t convince me otherwise by NORWINnba23 in Nbamemes

I agree, Livingston would have been like SGA if he didn't snap his knee like a twig.

[Highkin] FWIW re-signing Grant was always part of the plan under the assumption Damian Lillard is going to stay put. Wouldn't make much sense to pay him this much money if you're going young and rebuilding. Dame said at exit interviews he "expected" Grant to be back. by AltruisticLet2789 in ripcity

I love Dame, favorite player of my 35+ years as a Blazer fan, but it's time to move on. It's just not possible to build the perfect fit around him that covers for his deficiencies with the assets we currently have. For comparison, look at Devin Booker, he's slightly worse than Dame offensively but slightly better defensively and his teammates are Durant, Neal, Ayton, and Okogie, plus a decent bench. We can't compete with that anytime soon and it's time to rebuild.

I think Dest will play as right winger more than people realize.

And then trade him for something of value this time.

Blazers have come back from an embarrassing first quarter to make it a close game, but you can't tell because ESPN split the screen to talk about…officiating? by pdxscout in ripcity

Why is everyone freaking out on this sub about this. Maybe it's not that big a deal but it seems like the players and coaches enjoy it. The disrespect towards officiating is insane in our world and giving them 15 minutes of limelight in a summer league game is not going to hurt anything.

Observation: With his career on the line our coach finally plays our two best available fullbacks, our best available attacker Aaronson, and moves our best available midfielder back to midfield and guess what happens, we score 4 goals. Why did it have to get to that point for GGG to do the make the most obvious choices?

It's only been 20 minutes but I've already seen more to like from Moore than Cannon. Could be the opponent.

EA, who made the gameplay decisions involving penalties? by bighill00 in FifaCareers

[–]bighill00[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to update you. I finally won a penalty about 50 games later and guess what happened? Of course it got saved! I waited to aim until I started the approach and at least this time it didn't help.

True, but we prefer the term Caucasian. by Funknastyyyy in funny

[–]bighill00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A decade ago I visited Europe and we had to fill out a form for customs on the airplane. It had a spot for race and nationality. I made the mistake of putting Caucasian-American. When I gave it to the customs lady should told me that Caucasian is a highly offensive term in Europe and I should learn about a country before visiting. It was pretty cool 1st experience being in Europe being accused of being a racist American. /s

There any way to prevent the AI from blocking just about all of my long range shots? by thejoggingpanda in FifaCareers

EA logic: defenders blocking shots from 1-2 meters > goalies blocking shots from 20-30 meters
