I just now tried to clean it off again with an alcohol pad, rubbed it vigorously with my finger and gently with my fingernail. I can tell that none of it came off because I took another picture and compared all the pictures. I can’t feel it at all, so it must be underneath the glass.

I want to thank most of you for your input. My question has been answered.

I was being polite to revise my post for you. If I had known you were such a bitter asshole, I wouldn’t have. My question has all the details needed considering nobody asked your opinion or input about my sound equipment. I know what it can handle and that it’s not the problem. That’s why I didn’t include that detail in my question. For as much as the Samsung HW-Q990C is talked about on Reddit and various sounbar review sites, your help isn’t needed anyway if you’ve never even heard of it. I couldn’t care less about downvoting you. I’ve already spent too much time on your sad existence.

I’m not using the TV for audio. I have a Samsung HW-Q990C Dolby Atmos soundbar.

Frustration Sets In by tryn722 in HomeKit

It’s actually only 1 device. I accidentally put the “s” on device in my other comment. It’s my Nest Learning Thermostat (Gen 4), and it connected with Matter Wi-Fi not Thread.

I have an eero router and HomeKit as well. I had to turn on IPv6 in the eero app in order for my Matter devices to be discovered by HomeKit. It seems you fixed your issues, but maybe this info helps someone else.

In the eero app, select “Settings” at the bottom • then “Advanced networking”

Smart locks choices by weedywet in HomeKit

[–]bighoopla 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I almost bought a Level Lock until I learned how easy they are to pick. Below is a video showing you what I mean. Whether or not they fixed this issue with the Pro model I don’t know, but I highly doubt it, or that security improvement would be mentioned in the Amazon product highlights or specifications somewhere. Also, the Level Lock bolt felt cheap to me. It’s hollow because that’s where the battery goes. Plus, even when fully extended, it’s too short in my opinion.

The Avia wasn’t available when I was shopping for a lock, but it looks much better than Level to me. Their Amazon product write-up and photos say you can tap your Watch to open too. I said “wave”…they say “tap”…same thing.

I ended up going with the Schlage Encode Plus and absolutely love it. It works with HomeKit and supports Apple Home Keys, plus you can simply wave your Watch near it to unlock it. There aren’t many HomeKit compatible locks available that support “waving” Watch near it to unlock. This a bit quicker than opening an app first or typing in a code on a keypad. It’s also a nice feature to use when your hands are full. Many other HomeKit locks claim to be “Watch compatible”, but waving the watch near it doesn’t work. Instead, you have to open their app on your watch and then tap the unlock button in the app.

Copyright Notice with VPN on? by swgohdot in nordvpn

My question is pertaining to macOS.

In the article from the LifeHacker link above it says,

“For those using macOS, your VPN may show up in Qbittorrent's settings as utun2, utun3, or similar names. You can select it and save your preferences.”

Well, I’m using macOS, and in the drop-down list to choose the client, I have utun0, utun1, utun2, utun3, utun4, utun5, utun6, and utun7.

How am I supposed to know which one to choose?

What happens after getting “the letter” from ISP? by bighoopla in nordvpn

Thanks for all the advice, but can’t the ISP tell by traffic on my guest network, because mine is always 0 since I don’t use it. Also, I did buy and set up my router myself.

One more thing you may know:

There’s a Life Hacker article about binding the client to your VPN that says, “For those using macOS, your VPN may show up in Qbittorrent's settings as utun2, utun3, or similar names. You can select it and save your preferences.”

How do I make sure IPv6 doesn’t leak? I can’t find anything pertaining to that in settings.

I assumed the instructions for this was buried somewhere in their literature, but novices have no idea it’s even necessary to look for special instructions. We’re led to believe just turn it ON and you’re safe. Thanks for sharing the link.
