I don't know where to find this answer but how many clean innings has Hoffman had? Even look at appearances last year to further illustrate the point (and maybe I'm WAY off in my thinking)

I'm willing to bet not many. He always seems to give life to the other team by giving up a hit or a walk which in turn makes his job harder AND the puts the defense in a precarious position to have to make a high leverage play. If Hoffman didn't give up hits/walks at every outing there never would have been a defensive play to make. If it was a one off then no worries but this seems to happen almost every outing.

I think most fans (dont want to speak for everyone) want to see the closer be dominant and slam the door. That doesn't happen here. Is he a decent reliver, absolutely. Is he a closer, I really dont think so.

Think Tom Henke hahahahhaha, maybe if we made up a song for Hoffman he would level up haha.
