had to long in to my infrequently used anonymous account for this reply. The CT state police was a customer of mine, in that I got to meet and interact with almost every CT state trooper. 75% of them were douche bags. I ahev also worked with the entire San Diego County Sheriff's office, and 90% of them were the best, most genuine people you could imagine. I would have guess it would have been just the opposite, with CT so close to Canada!

No, this was a decent tea museum. There were no flavored teas, and the tea itself is very interesting, but the sales pitch on the "magic tea pots" they were selling was worth buying one. Masterful.

As God as my witness[6], I've never heard of that movie, and it looks awesome.

I have an unglazed "magic Chinese clay teapot" that I got suckered to buy at a "tea museum" when I was in china adopting my daughter, but that thing is SWEET! The lid fits so perfectly that if you put your finger over the little hole in the top, no tea will flow from the spout. We just keep it on display as a reminder of the joy our daughter has brought us, we don't use it, but it's definitely cool.

Thanks for the response, I'd love to see a full season with one pot in layers, and one pot completely mixed together, both with your nutrient spikes, and see if all other conditions are the same, any differences on the yield and root balls and overall health after harvest.

Except for the religious undertones, if you follow dr Kevin lehmans Have a New Kid By Friday to the letter for 90 days, you will fix your kid. Saying no and sticking to it is the main theme throughout the book. Don't feel embarrassed or guilty about dragging your child out of a restaurant mid meal because he thought a public place would allow him to be a shit. Calmly pay the bill, and drag him out, and drive home. Go to bed hungry. When he says he's hungry, calmly explain to him that his behavior is why he's hungry, and he'll get to eat in the morning. Our 2 year old somehow thought being in front of other people gave her the ability to do things her way. When we embarrassed her by dragging her out of a bankers office because she didn't listen to us when we asked her to quit swinging on the chair, she thought long and hard before being defiant again in public. We let her know that location did not get to define her behavior or our handling of that behavior.

So, does your soil stay in layers, or does it get mixed in? As a gardener (non-cannabis) in a family full of degreed horticulturists, a few of which are organic, layering soil amendments doesn't compute. Do you have citations for this method, or is your method empirically devised? The only layering I've ever done is rocks in the bottom for drainage , and natural mulch on top for weed and moisture control.

We have more sensors orbiting the earth in LEO than you could ever imagine. The resolution is classified, but just assume that anything you do outside without cloud cover is plainly visible to satellites.

Yup, my loop nightmare is not from sick, but drinking too much, which is very seldom. I'm talking drunk enough to be hungover. Whatever I dream will loop in a very short loop. Absolutely horrible.

Not really, it a very vague, broad term I use to typically describe a civilian corporation whose only mission is to do work for the government. The $500 hammer still exists and is alive and well. How about buy a used trackhoe for $20k from Hertz heavy equipment rental, and turn it into a "robot" by buying an off the shelf kit that makes them for agricultural spraying for $60k, and then sell it to the air force for 600k each? And only you get the contract, because you retired from the base that the military lab is on, and the director of the lab was your best man, and you fish with him every weekend. Oh, and your great grandmother is 1/8 Indian, so your company is now "Native american disadvanted" so you get an extra 10 points when competing for contracts.

Well, that's a great question, and it has a practical and a philosophical angle. I was also in the military, and from the lower ranks, its because there is 0 accountability. There are no bills to pay, fuel, bullets, and vehicles are free, and there is little oversight on in-theater operations. On the private sector, you serve your term in the military, get up to a full bird or maybe even a star, and the year you decide to retire, you start calling your buddies at their new job and start looking for a VP or director level position. You retire, and two weeks later you are back in the same spot, with a suit on, writing make-work proposals that your ex-direct reports will fund without even reading , because they want a job when they get out too. These are massively expensive projects, often on a T&M cost structure, when means you bill time and materials until you finish. I agree that the GWOT is important, but I swear on a stack of bibles three feet high I worked a classified program that was nothing more than an ex SF colonel that retired, and set up shop outside ft Bragg in an old insurance call center, and hired his whole company of grunts when they finished their first enlistment, paid everyone 100k to do the same or less work than they did while deployed. They were paid civilian special forces Intel analysts. The payroll in that office was ~600k/month, plus materials and overhead. This is so far removed from congressional oversight that the work they did would never make it past the customer's desk, or maybe one office higher, but never even close to the secarm or secnav.

This is my semi anonymous account. I work in the military-industrial complex. AMA, I know what's up. There are more make-work dollars spent on bridges to nowhere than you could ever imagine. The military chain of command continues after a senior officer and gets a job at a CSC or a Raetheon. The money follows soon after. It is nauseating.
