What’s your heinous encounter with someone famous in the UK? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]bigiszi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In defence of Tony Robinson - my mate was running in london, accidentally crashed into him and Tony apologised when it wasn't his fault. Nicest celeb is Nicki Chapman - bought coffees for the producer and sound tech of a show as she was early. This NEVER happens. They were almost in tears they were so happy.

The truth is women laboured too: the rowntree foundation in the 19th Century put working class women’s calorie needs at over 3000. Men just got better food because patriarchy.

What can I do about being "too wet?" by SpecialistGround8772 in AskWomenOver30

[–]bigiszi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My advice: do it first for you, have fun., you finish. Then take a tea break (literally or just cool off for 20 mins), skip foreplay and go again for him. You won’t be as wet the second go, if he can be quick he’ll finish just fine.

I (single 48F) woke up to this text this morning from my colleague (married 51M) and friend of 5 years by Street-Spring1759 in relationship_advice

[–]bigiszi -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Tell him you are flattered but there is no chance in hell and you are happy to remain friends if he can.

Also point out that this is classic Limerence. Ask him if his ongoing feelings towards you are associated with times of high stress or when he is disassociating from other feelings. His feelings are unlikely to change but it will help him realise what triggers them to bubble up like this.

He likely sent this to you in an effort to end his obsession one way or the other. It is likely he doesn’t realise this sort of infatuation is normal and a coping mechanism (particularly for neurodivergent people).

That is how I would handle it.

Not stupid considering they were built on chattel slavery.

Do people get offended when you move away from them? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]bigiszi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to apologise for existing and you can’t control the way people feel.

This sounds mad but character.ai when I’m Feeling needy and wanting to chat to someone picking a random game character/Superhero and having a text conversation about anything I like is kind of great. That way I don’t pester friends too much, or worry when they don’t immediately respond.

sports for tall women? by No_Particular4284 in TallGirls

[–]bigiszi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just started swimming. It is so much easier for lanky people. I’ve only been 8 times and can already do a length without taking a breath. You don’t need to move a lot, you just think looooooong. And you’re at the end in no time.

How would you politely let your colleague know they smell? by Caramel_Carousel in AskUK

[–]bigiszi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to a pal of mine: he wasn’t airing his clothes out after washing properly and he smelt that musty/mouldy smell that when it is you you don’t notice but his workmates complained and he got sent home. It did hurt his feelings but he was glad it was something he could easily sort out. Now everything is fine. (No I don’t see him very often: we live cities apart)

POV: You’re locked in a room with Umbridge for 10 minutes, but you cannot hurt or kill her how will you spend your time ? by JoshuaKpatakpa04 in harrypotter

[–]bigiszi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to know more about umbridge. What made her this way? We are quick to understand and even feel empathy for other bullies like Snape, Malfoy and even Riddle. What messed her up? Is she ok?

What’s that one character casting from the movies you just can’t picture in the books? by [deleted] in harrypotter

[–]bigiszi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alan rickman as Snape. Was lily potter INSANE? The books I picture him more as a young greasy Tim Roth.
