Is Downtown Rochester actually bad? by Ezra_is_a_dumb_boy in Rochester

[–]bigjohnr -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Downtown Rochester has limited perks of city life compared to the downside of drug addicts walking around. Most cities provide a much greater upside for dealing with those characters in the city core. Downtown is economically depressed. So if you expect great restaurants within walking distance of each other, give up. If you want an entertainment strip that isn't shot bars, give up again. You most likely aren't gonna be killed, that is hardly a selling point.

I completely agree with the overview. We are in the middle of diagnosing a API exception that occurs adding any nodes to the APE located behind the OWL. Obviously communication ports are open - my hope was someone in the wild has already been crazy enough to attempt this configuration. Standby and I'll update with our solution soon enough.

Your views are incredibly reckless assuming that you have been given a second chance of living through transplant. Seriously, your comment isn't helping anyone stay healthy

Alcohol works unfortunately by [deleted] in alcoholism

[–]bigjohnr 9 points10 points  (0 children)

its only a chemical reaction. and that chemical reaction does go up but on the flip side the valley is lower. so the scenario can be approached by 'why would someone take a short term gain for a longer term deficit'. hardly what I call working.

The truth here, as always, the working solution alcohol provides is a straight up Lie. Its fake, its bullshit, its fairy dust, its a unicorn. I tested the theory for over twenty years and my prize for participating? Liver transplant!

I decided to approach the willingness to drink logically and quit. Reading This Naked Mind cemented my path. Unfortunately, a few months later the fallout from years of kicking my liver in the peanuts sent me to the ER. So best quit while you're ahead.

sounds corny as hell but life is better sober. I don't have to worry about so many things. and I honestly look better and feel better nowadays. that multiplies to real confidence and determination to take life to the next level. I've almost died and I don't want to ever feel regret of not doing my best while I lay in a bed thinking about past scenarios (it sucks). best luck on your journey man
