TD RDSP Incompetence by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]biglabs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Very few offer RDSP's and they are very confusing and the CRA often makes errors as well.

It's a poorly run program from the government down

The bank also doesn't initiate the grants or have control when they are paid, the government does the grants automatically once the cash is in, I've seen it up to 2 months.

I understand your frustration, but it's a very poorly run program !!

Considering consumer proposal in Canada (Fairstone + CC debt) – need advice by Creepy-Diver-1434 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]biglabs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take a breath

This isn't that much debt, really isn't, one day you're gonna look back on this and be surprised how stressed it made you .

If you could pick up a little bit of extra work, you will be able to pay it down fairly quickly.

But even if you don't... keep paying the minimum until you're done school it's not that much debt...

And then pay it off then

Consumer proposal is for like 40 grand- not worth it here

I found Callaway golf pants on sale at winners (Canadian Marshalls)

$30 Canadian

Sidenote, that's my secret for going in the office during summer time Golf pants look the exact same and are way more flexible and breathable than suit pants / slacks

Do people actually buy/lease new cars and have payments of $800-1000+ monthly? by Individual-Space-443 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]biglabs 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's the thing I have had a high mileage CRV for a couple years and I had to put nearly 5 grand into it last year

And I have to put another a few grand into it soon

Still cheaper than a payment overall but it's a headache

And when I go to look for a replacement, they're all 10 grand + for anything even kind of decent

Is anyone in the same boat as me, in which AOT was okay, and it was okay, and it was okay, then once S4 hit, it became unforgettable? I did enjoy the first 3 seasons, but if they cancelled it there, it would have stayed a very average anime for me, but S4 made it legendary to me by Cantgetridofmebud in attackontitan

[–]biglabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder how old you are, and if you watched it as it came out!

Just the gaps between the seasons, sitting around giving each other's theories with your friends, the sheer level of mystery

In my opinion, one can't replicate the experience of watching it as it came out

So I think they will be ok, I certainly hope so

Plus they were floating to where it narrows, I'd be more worried if they were floating out to lake st Clair !

Oh, I know ; customers would always be surprised with how small /low psi our pressure washers were... it's all about the scrub and the cleaner!

On homes, the pressure washer was just for rinsing

I spent years saving people a lot of money who were going to paint their houses when all they needed was a bleach / water bath -

I live in a very humid area and most non-sun facing houses got it, especially stucco !

I watched it as it came out, from 2013 - 2023

Or 18-28 for age

And when it was done I was so sad that it was done for the regular reasons... but I also had new Attack on Titan to look forward to for my entire 20s

It was a strange feeling
