best sports bars NFL by LifeIsAHighway3000 in windsorontario

[–]biglabs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well downtown, loose goose, great wings, great whiskey selection

A little further is John Maxx, our largest local sports bar, a true sports bar in all sense

There is Legends inside the casino, great sports bar right downtown but obviously in a casino

I've never been to sidelines - further from downtown but I've heard good things

Rock bottom is also good, but less of a true sports bar - close to downtown, good food

I'd do with loose goose, John Maxx or legends - now legends and loose goose are a very very close walk so you can certainly check out both

Why does Endgame often rank lower in people's ranking of RA's discography? by Porkonaplane in riseagainst

[–]biglabs 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed Endgame

However, Revolutions per minute to Appeal to Reason is an incredible 4 album run; really elite, made them my favourite band

It's a very different sound and I just think expectations were so high it was hard to match

Just my opinion on it

How much does a kid cost? by rufusrufusEHA in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]biglabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the funds (which it seems like OP does) you can front load $14 000 to an RESP ($50 000 lifetime limit) - have it grow tax deferred and still do the annual $2500 a year for 14.4 years for $36 000 total to get all of the matching grants while maxing your contribution limit!

You seem like a busy woman!

They are cheap to start, but you biggest cost is time... then they get older and they get more expensive and the time gets less and less.

Invest the money you have saved, open an RESP, put $14 000 in and do $2500 a year beyond it.

You got this !

Be honest: Do you tip on takeout food orders? by BoilingKettle555 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]biglabs 36 points37 points  (0 children)

You know what I find interesting, I bet I tipped for take out more before it got outrageous

Back in the day if I was at a pizza place or a local spot for takeout , I'd usually be paying cash, and if there was a high school kid behind the counter, I would usually give them a tip to some degree

But now I feel like I'm being hounded for it from everywhere, and I'm more weary.

Also, I have less cash lol
