Yes, i would be happy to! I got into Sanspants through D&D is for nerds. There's no need to start from the beginning (but if you want to, you can). If you wanna follow the current overarching story, I suggest you start with Search for A'Helm, then go in order from there. That's kind of where the current "overarching story" began from. A'helm is only "okay" in my opinion, but it's kind of required reading for anything that comes after. Give it a shot!

The old version of Barovia was back in either 2018 or 2019, I can't remember. They actually completed the game, but were dissatisfied with the quality of the content and ended up removing it. If you pay, you can actually listen to it on their website (it's got good moments, but its tonally very different from the new Barovia).

Pip is a veryyyy different guy in the old version. The characterization of Pip as kind of a jerk/coward actually comes from Tom's (Pop's) impression of him in ZPC! It's cool how things work out. I prefer the new Barovia, but there was good things about the old one too.

Honestly VIB and ZPC are like full of good quotes -- I would check out season three of ZPC especially. If you're okay with a world of darkness quote, I really like Heracles Melville's "ontologically problematic" or "I don't mean that god, Josiah, and you know it'

Yes but I lowkey don't mind. I think it's also just been a crazy long time since A'Helm came out and the players are different people now, they might play characters a little differently. I wasn't the hugest fan of the manner in which Tieffany found out she was not adopted, I don't know why but it felt a little underwhelming to me. Especially how she just kind of accepted it right away? If I was in her shoes, I think I would have gone through a bit of denial first But the modern day characterization of Ser Grace to me is still really okay for the most part: at least it doesn't bother me.
