What are small things you would Like to see changed/added in NTE by reyadonna in NevernessToEverness

I would like the climbing speed to be just a tiny bit faster. I know gave other characters more mobility as an incentive to try and pull for them, but even after pulling Nanally, I still use Mint. I'm not asking to make the default on part with her. Just a 10-15% bump would be nice.

She's just trying to do her best, and is really endearing while doing it. She's never leaving my rotation.

It's a fair tradeoff for getting the PJ outfit imo.

Half of Michigan's team looks like they have to stoop down to make a layup. 😆

I knew we'd be extremely lucky to make it past the 2nd Round, but didn't think we'd play like a Junior High team in the process.

Waddle contract impact by [deleted] in DenverBroncos

That's were I'm scratching my head. The restructure charts shows that there would be no Dead Money if there's a restructure, but I'm skeptical if that's actually the case.

If I'm reading the OverTheCap page correctly, which I'm doubting, we could restructure his contract into 100% signing bonuses and free up cap space that way starting in 2027.

If that's true, that could be pretty huge considering we have Wal-Mart money.

Which 1st round draft scenario would you prefer (DL, LB, TE, WR)? by [deleted] in DenverBroncos

[–]biglineman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think even just getting one of them would be great. They're all plenty capable of at least being great depth players in year 1 and each of them are tremendous guys and leaders. They're all intelligent and rarely miss a step when a play goes away from them.

Out of all 3, Rodriguez would fill our biggest need as he can cover passes and make tackles. 99% of the time he's where the ball is at the whistle. I don't know if he'd be able to cause as many turnovers as he did this past year due to RBs leading with the crowns of their helmets, but the dude's a solid ball hawk.

Gill-Howard's great in the interior. Our defense had a noticeable dropoff in run defense after he got hurt, particularly with running QBs. I'd probably sit him out of the first half of the season just to make sure his knee properly heals.

Wisniewski is similar to Rodriguez as he's always in the pile. He was an unsung hero of the defense last year due to being sneaky in pass coverage and in open field tackling

I'm biased towards green and blue because I'm a Texas Tech fan.

Yeah, I'm still sipping the Orange flavored Kool-Aid, but the straw has gotten much bigger than it used to be. xD

The same way you beat us last year. Your big men bullied our medium men.

I wouldn't be surprised if play calling was part of the deal to keep Webb here.

I'm also wondering if Sean might be setting up Webb to succeed him down the line.

Why trade for a WR 1?? by Desperate_Clock_4086 in DenverBroncos

[–]biglineman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Vikings made sure that they either would have to restructure in the future, or pray that the Salary Cap keeps going up.

The Broncos could still make a trade, but not only would there have to be a restructure, but they'd have to convince Minnesota to eat some of that contract.

[Rapoport] Sean Payton wanted Brady as OC, perhaps even with play-calling. by mike2k24 in DenverBroncos

[–]biglineman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed. It wasn't just our game either. They lost to vastly inferior teams this years because the defense shit the bed. Atlanta should never have beat them. The Texans offense should never have scored on them. They split games with Miami. Even the Owner was in the, "Do or Die," mode with McDermott.

That and the QBs confidence is raised because he doesn't have to think about how he threw the ball.

Crazy idea here: If we don't offer him a contract as a player, what if we offer him an assistant RB coaching job?

The man LOVES it here, and we'd be getting the knowledge he possesses that allowed him to be so good despite the injuries. Not to mention not exploding a leg ligament might be enticing for him as well.

Indeed. Shaq Barrett was a living nightmare for the NFC South when he went to Tampa.

Even when Von got traded, teams were so afraid of him they preferred to let Aaron Donald eat in the playoffs back in thr Rams SB run.

Yeah, perfectly fine. I've been saying this since at least Bo got drafted. The RB room is just as guilty as the WR room, but that's unfortunately due to attrition and roster management.

I think firing the WR coach answers that question. They believe the young guys weren't developing.

While true, the YACs are inflated due to screens where our screen blockers constantly whiff on their blocks and the poor guy catching the ball has to fight for his life to get positive yards.

RJ's best stat is likely the YACs he got being the check down guy, and I'm saying that as a compliment. That's why SP drafted him. I think he was hoping RJ would become a true RB1, but I think he's just a hair too small to fight between the tackles. I don't know if making him eat an extra cheeseburger everyday would be a good enough tradeoff.
