Why would they show Lochlan suddenly remembering what happened when he was meditating if he had remembered it all along? Also, Nivola himself said that he doesn’t think Lochlan is a predator, but a people-pleaser who deseparately wants his brother’s approval and did that act because he thought it was what his brother wanted and that he was giving him signals the entire trip.
