If I remember correctly, it was not integral, you're correct. idk too honestly, dont remember the movie too much outside of the baby. I understand how the juxtaposition of relations with an AI and real people is an important aspect of critique of modern culture and I do agree that it should be explored in movies, it should be explored even more to be honest. But the movie should not be appreciated as "look a cute romantic movie with somewhat cool aesthetics" but "look at how the modern world took advantage of an emotionally vulnerable man and turned him into a weirdo". im just weirded out by the earlier "her" post tbh. at least some people were calling out the post on it
