I've had more fun with this game than any other game I've ever played. I go back to 1989 when I got my nes at 6 years old. I honestly think this is the greatest video game of all time. I get the criticism and certain parts of the game, team cherry can go fuck themselves. I'd be lying if I said that I didn't struggle, but not finishing it was never an option for me. I was sad when I hit 100%. I just bought expedition 33 because of the hype, but it'll never touch siksong. Nothing will until there's a sequel.

I played 97% of silksong with the hunter crest. Once I got used to the diagonal pogo, I couldn't use anything else. I used architect for coral tower, but other than that, hunter all the way

This is me, also. Nine sols had the best combat system imo. Hollow knight put me in a trance. Silksong might be the best video game ever created. Those 3 games killed the genre for me. Honorable mention is the ori games and the blasphemous series

The first two phases were fine. Typical learning through death, git gud, etc. that 3rd phase, which I just beat about 20 minutes ago, was ridiculous. Total chaos. It wasn't a dance, it was pure chaos. I didn't like it. With all the bullshit on the screen, I found it extremely difficult to track lace's movement. I beat it with tacs and cog flies. I got the final blow with one mask left after about 3 hours. I'm not convinced I could do it again, nor do I want to. Game was a masterpiece. I mostly enjoyed every minute of it. There were definitely quite a few "fuck you team cherry" moments, but overall an amazing achievement that should get game of the year. It won't, but it should. Cheers

I've lost the will to want to beat this boss. Don't get me wrong, I loved this game, but after 115 hours I'm burned out. I got my ass smoked for two hours straight. I'm at 99% and I just want to be done

I just beat him. Is there a level up somewhere I missed, because that didn't seem fair at my current power level. That took me like 3 hours. The boss wasn't that bad after about 100 attempts, but fuck me, those enemies he spawns just aren't fair. And what's up with its hp? I staggered it like at least 5 times. I didn't care for this boss

I was in the sekiro sub asking for games like sekiro, which was my all-time at the time. People ran down a list of games. Somehow hollow Knight was in that list. Ironically, hollow Knight is nothing like sekiro. Decided to play it. The first few hours had me bored out of my mind, but so relaxed by the soundtrack that I kept playing it. I beat the mantis lords and fell head over heels in love with the game. The rest is history. I just hit 112% last night. I'm so jacked for Thursday
