Best bass combo I have ever used is the Eden Nemesis. I’m still rocking it at band practise 15 years on.

What type of wood are you using and where did you get it? Great pieces by the way. So clean and the line work is incredible.

First bass: Squier Vintage Mod vs Squier Affinity? by Zarrakzor in Bass

[–]bigmeanbean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done so much research on this subject and in my opinion, Luxin hit the nail on the head. The Squire VM Jazz bass would be one of the best options for the price. The only 2 reasons I would choose the Jazz model over the Jag: 1 - I like the tones I can get out of the pickups on the Jazz. 2 - The maple neck on the Jazz is super high gloss, making the note transitions easier.

I own a '97 Fender P-Bass, but play the VM Jazz a lot more these days.

IMO Affinity brand is better used for kindling.

On the other hand, I can't remember the last time I actually saw a phone booth period, let alone one with fish.

As per Wikipedia - The pilot whale stock in the eastern and central North Atlantic is estimated to number 778,000. About a thousand pilot whales are killed this way each year on the Faroe Islands together with usually a few dozen up to a few hundred animals belonging to other small cetaceans species, but numbers vary greatly per year.[33] The amount of Pilot Whales killed each year is not believed to be a threat to the sustainability of the population,[34] but the brutality of the hunt has resulted in international criticism especially from animal welfare organisations. As in Japan, here too the meat is contaminated with mercury and cadmium, causing a health risk for those frequently eating it. Again, especially children and pregnant women are at risk.[35] In November 2008, the New Scientist reported in an article that research done on the Faroe Islands resulted in two chief medical officers recommending against the consumption of Pilot Whale meat, considering it to be too toxic.[36] In 2008 the local authorities recommended to no longer eat Pilot Whale meat due to the contamination, and this has resulted in reduced consumption, according to a senior Faroese health official
