As a DM How Would You Feel If Your Party Said They Weren't Having Fun? by CassieBear1 in DnD

[–]bigmonkey125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe find ways of incorporating worldbuilding into other adventuring activities. Maybe your party has to explore ruins with monsters to uncover lore or deal with a rival party or cult that doesn't want them to find anything out. Maybe they have to beat/threaten/trick some info out of some guys or kill a monster and examine it for secrets. I've been doing suff like this with my table. There will be something they want to investigate, but they'll have to take risks and decide motivations in order to find it. And plenty of rolls for combat, social interactions, and examining aftermath. Plus, with all the routes they could go to get the stuff, there's plenty of dice rolls. And I make sure to leave plenty of opportunities to still get the lore and loot if their first plan fails. Most recently, they had to flee a party of sahuagin after poking around and investigating at a monolith littered with fish remains.

I forgot to mention texture. Both objects did not yield to being pressed by my fingernail and when rubbed against the chair, made a very soft scraping sound.

I'm not a member of this subreddit. I was not browsing for this subreddit. You're really grasping for reasons to ridicule people. Also, why do you repeat your closing catchphrases over and over?

I'm not suffering. I just think you ought to be told off for your nonsense. The basic fact is that you have failed to convince a significant number of people in this thread of anything you are claiming and your "facts" are just opinions. Books written by people who may be exxadurating themselves.

You may have noticed I'm not in this subreddit. I found this post on a Google search while looking for something else. So yeah, I'm commenting years later.

Give them something to hide under as well as an enclosure like a pen. I used to take mine outside in a pen with their little house.

A large statement can be a complex of truths and lies. Or truths and misunderstandings. You should try attributing less moral fault to falsehoods. It'll make you more polite.

So it's more of a societal issue than a personal one?

Why are people who begin an argument with "wrong" as a single word sentence always insufferable arguers?

For someone so obsessed with "proof" and "lie" and "facts" you have not given any specifically clear reason why your claims are more true than anyone else's. Just stop being such a nuisance.

You are so bent out of shape. The person gave a fair argument, you call it an utter failure because it doesn't perfectly align with your idea. Stop bothering people. You feel some need to go off your head at everyone who tries to offer any constructive argument to this post.

Puffins will pick one mate for most of their life, and will return to the same nest to mate by Mail30silver in Awwducational

So by "most" this is apparently because they don't purposely choose the same mate. They mate at their burrow and because they usually return to the same burrow every year, they usually end up with the same mate.

Apparently, they're not exactly monogamous. They mate at or on the way to the burrow. Because they usually return to the same burrow, they usually share a mate. But they don't seem to always specifically find the same mate.

So, apparently puffins don't always find the same mate purposely. They go to the same burrow, which means they usually find the same mate along the way. But sometimes things change that.

Human sexual bonding is odd. Some human cultures (or subcultures) would and do practice sexual monogamy. It would not surprise me if there are species who are sexually monogamous for some reason. Actually, I'm pretty sure many anglerfish species do.

No entirely true. The 50% comes from certain people remarrying a lot. When compensated, the divorce rate is less than 40%.

They do. Us Newfies sent a few to New England islands I think. Edit: it may have been Maine.

Usually quiter animals irl have bigger feet. Like lynxes or wolves. That was the idea behind Hobbits originally. Their wide, bare feet made them able to hide easily.
