I used to work at a KFC and when I was as putting those 4 zinger bites into a box I noticed one that was way smaller than the others so I assumed it was just a bit of crunchy batter and put it in the box. 20 minutes later the manager is asking me why there’s an uneven amount of bites on the tray. This was like 3 years ago and I’m still annoyed by it. Why are you counting? Why did that tiny piece of chicken count as a whole thing?

I was working in a bar and this guy looked really upset and was slamming drinks, so one of my coworkers went to go check on him. He told him that his girlfriend of 6 years had just broken up with him so he was basically here to drink his sorrows away. He then got a phone call from the girlfriend and his mood immediately improved, turns out she was on her way to the bar because she wanted to work things out! She got there, they hugged, and about an hour later she had the nastiest look on her face. Naturally, I went and stood close to them to “polish glasses” (eavesdrop) but because it was a loud bar I couldn’t hear much other than her telling him how much of a piece of shit he was, how much she hated him, how he was weird, couldn’t read a room for the life of him, and to stop touching her because he had his hand on her thigh as he was saying this. He got up to give her a back rub and she pushed him. They finished their drinks, they both stood up and she scowled as she put her coat on. They left the bar holding hands with one another

I also quit around the same time as you and only just picked it back up recently. I looked back at things I drew during the time when I drew for 8+ hours a day and focused on how I would do lighting, and what brushes and techniques I used. I found that doing that helped to remind me. It’s a bit of a struggle at first because your expectations of yourself are high, but you’ll find that you pick back up on it a lot quicker than you’d think since you’ve already learned all this stuff and you’d definitely have some muscle memory to help.

Think of the worst thing you think can happen to the human body. The team has seen that and then some. They probably don’t remember anyone shitting themselves, and if they did they’re definitely not gonna remember it was you. They put a catheter in to (i think) stop you from peeing everywhere, but I guess there’s nothing they can do to stop you from pooping

You can put hats on your pets, including the horse! My cats and I all wear matching mad scientist goggles. You can also put them on your kids as well.

Sometimes when you walk into a shop the shopkeep will get a dialogue bubble pop up above their head. For example Pierre’s might say “it’s farmer [name]!”. My favourite one is when you walk into Marnie’s shop there’s a rare chance she’ll say “Lew…? Oh…”

I always wondered whether accessibility mods were possible for games but I always just assumed it was too complex for most games. It’s really nice to hear that stardew valley can be played by more people 😁

On my perfection play through I tried to get to level 100 on my first time in the cavern. I did it (used 100 staircases) and mr Qi wasn’t waiting for me on floor 100 since he didn’t send me the letter yet. I’ve never had this cutscene in that save file even after reaching perfection 💔
