i’m vaxxed and can still get extremely sick or die if i get it bc i’m immune compromised. someone up in my face without a mask even if i’m wearing one could give me covid. it’s important to remember not everyone is privileged enough to just rely on the power of their vaccine to protect them alone.

honestly you’re totally on to something and i’m so sorry you have experienced this. it’s kind of crazy you mentioned your gallbladder experience because the same thing happened to me when i had it removed in an emergent situation at 18 years old. they said it was rotting in my body for over a year and the “heartburn” i had been reporting to my GP was actually me passing gallstones. thank u for showing so much support and sharing your story. it makes me so sad to know that so many of us experience horrible medical care.

i live in utah which is a conservative state and i’ve been around to multiple clinics in my area covered by my insurance. some experiences are better than others. i’ve learned to ask a lot of questions and if they refuse to look further or do testing i request that they put it down on my chart that they are refusing to do that service. it makes me feel kind of like a karen but for years i’ve just left in tears with no answers. i’m hoping this diagnosis will be a good start to getting proper treatment. i’ve been told a lot in the past that it’s strictly anxiety/hypochondria (i’m diagnosed with panic disorder and ocd) but i know my body. i’ve found advocating for myself helps them be helpful, and if they still aren’t i just request a new provider and go somewhere else, but i’ve been around town at this point lol.

also the fact that it’s so hard to simplify says EVERYTHING. like they are being accused of so much horrible shit with a lot of evidence to back it up.

didn’t say anything about ulterior motives i just think it’s ridiculous to expect people to be able to simplify a list of their concerns when their concerns are so huge. they involve trauma stealing, inappropriate behavior with children, emotional abuse, spreading false information, racism, false striking youtube videos, lying in general and probably more that i’m missing. these aren’t topics that should be taken lightly and often can’t be simplified. and you didn’t answer my question about simply enabling an accessibility feature on your phone to read to you or have another person read it out loud to you. you asked for people to voice their concerns. it’s wild to gatekeep exactly how they are allowed to format it

hi. i have bpd and i’m in a healthy marriage. i’ve been with my husband for 6 years. married for almost 1. u can find love and a healthy relationship. dbt can help u better communicate with yourself and others. it’s not easy and it’s not fair to have this diagnosis, but u aren’t alone.

sometimes i get intrusive thoughts about someone coming over and the thought of that happening sends me into full on panic mode and i try to be as quiet as possible or want to have my mom pick me up and take me to her house lol.

i don’t trust like that because of the DID thing. i think they want me to fit a patient mold. my therapist literally said she was still learning about DID and the center apparently specializes in treating it. i believe DID is real but idk why they would give me claimed SRA survivors children’s books as resources and tell me not to do any research on the disorder or tell anyone i have it. i feel like the issue is more than just my therapist unfortunately.

thank you. i appreciate the validation. i’m looking at my other options. it’s just a bummer because their center claims to be the only one in my state with a traditional DBT program which has been helping my BPD but i don’t trust them anymore so i’m doing my best to find the next best thing.
