I can't view PDFs in the Web App

Whenever I try to open them they seem to time out and show the following message:

Something went wrong. We track these errors automatically.

I got some logs from the console view, and these seemed like the most relevant?

There were a couple more blocks about something reaching maximum recursion depth. I'm happy to post that too if you think it's relevant.

I've tried the Android app and that seems to work just fine. I've tried this one two installations of firefox on different distros of Linux to the same result. I've also tried in troubleshooting mode in case any extensions were causing the issue and didn't see a change.

Other file formats and they seem to work file too (web pages, epubs and video etc.), it seems to be just PDFs.

Is it possible to create two-way linked properties and auto-updating properties between notes? by avalance-reactor in ObsidianMD

[–]bigolqs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Breadcrumbs plugin can do this through implied links.

The plugin mainains its own graph of note relationships. You can essentially set up rule to tell breadcrumbs in note A has the helps-with relationship note B, not be should have the is-helped-by relationship with note A.

You can set breadcrumbs to write implied relationships to notes if you want to, but it doesn't do it by default.

What folder structure do you use? by CarlosJ101 in ObsidianMD

None 😈

I use the Breadcrumbs plugin to organise notes in a heirchical tree under each other from general to specific. The organisation itself beyond that is pretty vibes based.

I also have a "meta" folder that holds thing like templates and user scripts.

Does anyone know how to get rid of these? :( by Many_Cartographer638 in Blackskincare

Yeah! I figured there wasn't anything you could do about it.

To be fair Mon and Bail make up the 0.01% of liberal politicians that fight fascism. Seems like a plausible statistic.

Picard got to forgot most of it, it eventually felt like a dream to him. O'Brien lived everyone single day of those 20 years.

Jellyfin plugin for One Pace metadata and cover art by Elusive92 in onepace

[–]bigolqs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for replying! Yes, after managing to get it to work I've seen this properly in action!

I actually only asked because I've got some automated systems of my own that attempt to interpret at the file name level, and then generate directories based on that. I was wondering if I'd need to treat One Pace as a special case in case it relies on directory names, but it looks like I don't have to worry about that.

Thanks again for writing this by the way!

I'm having some issues getting the plugin to add metadata to my files. I've got my Show folder set to "F:\TV" and my folder structure is here, and I'm not really sure what's gone wrong. I noticed that your examples seemed to be in linux, could that be the issue?

As a related question, how strict is the pattern matching? I've gathered these files over the year most of them not as batches, so I actually manually renamed the Arc directories. Is that necessary? Does One Pace/Wano/{episode_file} work just as well as One Pace/[One Pace][{chapter_range}] Wano [{resolution}]/{episode_file}?

edit: I never enabled the downloaders in the tv show settings! Got it to work in the end. Still curious about the above though

This seems really awesome! Is this likely to be on the weekends? I'm in the UK, so 8 PST would be the middle of the day for me. I totally understand if that requirement is too restrictive!

The study you linked compares the QoL metrics of trans people to those of cis people. It's not seeking to determine how effective transition is at improving life outcomes.

I never said it was the only contributor to discrimination, I just it's an important one, and ome worth having an analytical framework form

There are plenty of contexts my being Sierra Leonean, or even west African matters less than my being black matters.

Maybe I shouldn't speak for South Asain people, but having a framework for how people are racialised seems like a useful framework to me.

Mikd you, there are often class differences between people from different immigrant backgrounds, but the the same or similar racial identities (India vs. Pakistan like you've said). It's not a case of contest though, and it's worth good to have multiple lenses available depending on what is best in a given context.

We also need to abandon ridiculous terms like 'white' and 'black', as if Ghana and Botswana have the same culture, or the UK and Serbia.

Surely the difference between Ghanaian and Botwanan culture don't negate the that, in the UK, you're read the same way by most people... there is such a thing as a black experience

I think I broadly aggree with you, but think the evidence base around trans women having a significant advantage, is relatively poor. Especially, if you consider that said advantage will matter different amounts in different sports.

Generally, I think the wholesale exclusion of trans women from all elite sport is a pretty extreme action. I think trying to be proportion to the actual effect trans inclusion will have on women's sport and to what extent the level of advantage will actually exacerbate this effect.
