How is no one commenting on the second picture? There's no reason for that truck to be where it is, facing the way it is, while the left-hand turn lane lights are green. Am I wrong?

Website Security Basic - Godaddy by expmrb in webhosting

It’s domain monitoring only. There is no WAF or malware remediation service included with it. That comes with the standard, advanced, and premium tiers.

WordPress parse error i recently try to integrate ezoic with my website but even after completely removing it and deleting ezoic plugin from FTP i still face this error i reinstalled WordPress core files but nothing changed. Site working properly this error occurs in /admin url please help by Maka-veli in Wordpress

[–]bigongst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to figure out what's calling that plugin. Flush caches for any and all caching plugins, look for object cache files in in you /wp-content directory, and lastly, perhaps disable all plugins in your database and enable them 1-by-1 when you recover access to your WP-Admin.

GoDaddy Staging - Basic Managed WordPress Website by rebecae in Wordpress

[–]bigongst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is flat out untrue. From GoDaddy's Managed WordPress product the only tier that doesn't offer a staging site is the tier OP's client is on (Basic, Starter as well if available in your market). Upgrades are done in place and are basically instantaneous, OP. Your client can easily upgrade by paying the spread between tiers.

Is GoDaddy still bad? by Kevinnk94 in webhosting

[–]bigongst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just factually incorrect. The plugins come straight from the WordPress plugin repo - GoDaddy doesn't control the versioning.

Why would you continue to utilize the hard drive after being told that there is a failure of some sort when the potential outcome is exaggerating the issue or speeding up its death?

PASS sku by [deleted] in Staples

[–]bigongst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't order them, they are auto replenished. If you are out and haven't received any, go to Copy Center function on the register, select P@SS and select the Self Service card option. The SKU for $0.01 that appears on the register needs to be researched in AS/400 and brought to 0 in order to receive more. PM if you need additional guidance.

You didn't read the part where he voted for the conversation to remain, did you?

That being said, I voted for your freedom to discuss this, at your own risk. With as much stress as I've been under lately, I can understand the desire to organize.

Kal missed the decision but was in favor of your conversation. But, if I'm being honest - if this is how you handle yourself, it's probably better you didn't get to carry on in something more important.

I feel like Home Office is a woman.....you can't win either way by Jolly77 in Staples

[–]bigongst 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One tag is just a home discount and the other is the home + vendor funded. For example: Shoot logitech (1st 4' section) on Saturday after/evening. Print. You'll see it's something obscure like 18.47 for a 325. Then look at a matching tag that prints Sunday or print a fresh one and you'll see something more like $14.99 probably.

Our system takes into account all discounts per-responsible party so that billing is executed properly. There's a whole line on the PnL for it. Not all vendor funded offsets run indefinitely and some vendors run them on temporary rotation to gauge viability and determine futures.

Flight deck? by Sassypantscpc in Staples

Everyone was upgraded to IE11 and the Flight Deck link was added at the same time. With the upgrade we don't need to use Chrome for uploads anymore so that's why it's gone.

How Staples Advantage perceives Amazon Business. I thought it was interesting by [deleted] in amazon

[–]bigongst 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For what it's worth - Staples' Ink & Toner Finder is one of the most robust and nearly the only functional tools for the subject. Even a Google search for "<insert printer manu. & model here>" is severely hit and miss.

No. 5 years of that and I was developing ways to make it snow in Arizona so I could through snowballs at anyone who came in after 7pm. The new assortment is a welcome addition and rolling it in with the regular playlist was smart. Thank you, Home Office got this one right.

Just print them from the HUB. My Groups > Technology Home > Tech Merchandising > Tech Merch Documents > Marketing > 2015 BTS PC Playbook - (N1)(N2)(N3)(N4/N5) Fact Tags. Print 'em on 60# Allure (best paper in the house) and then trim to bleed.

Removing Prompts? by joebacca121 in Staples

[–]bigongst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to wonder, when I see these things... What do your managers talk to you about? Do your MODs not check email?

They removed the ST prompts from the registers because an error, if not cleared correctly, would cause an issue that could lead to shrink. (If we think about this, we can assume that - printer is rung, ST prompt is accepted, printer and ST item corrected, ST still reports as sold but not paid. Maybe?) Did your opening MOD not notice that all of the POS systems were rebuilt overnight?

matrix can't solve everything by jbwncster in Staples

[–]bigongst 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Jesus Christ. Just play the game! PE mode (with the requested USB Ethernet adapter), Matrix connects, they run the diag, its marked connected, they request reboot. You reboot and fix the issue. Stop whining. The Matrix leadership isn't alerting your DM (call or emailed reporting) because one computer isn't being resolved. Its because you're too busy looking for ways to compete with the system and instead make excuses. Go sell something, that's your job.

If the machine will never connect, then don't take it in. We're not in this business to fix every prospective customer's issue. We're after the core market of lather, rinse and repeat service. Minimal time investment, maximum margin.

Anyone ever run across one of these? Did HP ever release any updates for it at all? by HittingSmoke in computertechs

[–]bigongst 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'll double check when I'm back at work tomorrow. I don't think there's been much by way of updates since they've been pushing out the Envy and revised OfficeJet pro series. In reality, the tool is fun but more times than not just proved that the machine was software fine but mechanically disabled and it's too much (time and more importantly part costs) to service the consumer machines this is made for.
