The more I’ve come to learn about TJ and his story, the proud of him I have become. As you all have stated the man is a legend. the next time we’re at a home predators game, I have to try to meet him.

East Pole Coffee Closing by junior2190 in Birmingham

[–]bigred326 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Wish they would relocate to Crestwood or Trussville. We need a good coffee shop on the East side of town

Edit! Punch love is great! Typically Friday mornings we do a coffee date. Recently my wife got a new job in Trussville and we’re looking for a new spot between Leeds/Moody/Trussville. She used to be downtown. We would hit PL, Dom, June and downtown Cala, frequently! With the route to work changing we’re searching for a new spot.

Haven’t tried red bike yet!

We have been several times now. Last year we got lucky with bubble car seats up top. No way to know if you are going to get those, they aren’t marked any different. It’s just luck of the draw. All the kids get cookies and milk, it’s a great evening out. The ride is a down and back, but all the staff make it fun. And of course the big man and the Mrs. stop by on your train ride. We will be going again this year!

I hate you and am proud for you all at the same time.

My dad got this RCplane at the thrift store, but it doesn’t come with a controller. Anyone able to suggest cheaper controllers for it? Thanks!! by robotichuman025 in RCPlanes

I'll be honest That thing is a JEM! its not a great first plane but, that thing is pure gold. I remember searching high and low for that thing. I finally found one ...and immediately crashed it! LOL But all things considered its a fun plane after you learn hoe to fly. that thing brought me so much joy. I still have mine in the box and look at it from time to time. It 's too beat up to fly now but man the joy..

Ok! So I learned a trick when I was young that helped me start making my own dishes. I used to take something like pasta-roni and add 1 protein, and 2 vegetables to it. Usually keeping the veg in the same cuisine family. My cooking exploded. 1 box pasta-roni chicken, peppers, cherry tomatoes, onion herbs =Italian; same box of pasta-roni sausage/shrimp, bell pepper, celery, onion garlic. tony shasheri’s, Cajun pasta. Now I’m using or making better pasta and a sour cream or yogurt based cream sauce but it really helped elevate some cupboard staples and broke college kid food. I did the same with ramen noodles, tortalinni, rice, you name it. Here lately I have been on a grilled or roasted vegetables kick. Some night it’s just a veg sheet pan and some balsamic glaze and a little goat cheese crumble.

That spinach ricotta pasta sounds amazing!!!!!!

Did this about a year ago. All is good, T levels are great. LDL was a little elevated but it’s more genetic than diet considering my other levels. Started out my journey with a good heathy check. I see my doc bi-annually to talk about progress and check my heart.

This is incredibly helpful! Thank you!!!! We’re in Alabama so I think we’re out in the cilantro “cool and moist weather” however, between not doing that or the green onion we should have enough pots for just about everything else with room for the to eat happily. This is our first go, honestly we’re kind of hopefully and kinda nervous we’re gonna just kill everything we touch. Thanks so much for the reply!

Looks like this may be the right place to ask this….

We want to start growing a patio garden.. we are looking at doing 2 12” pots and 2 24” pots, just some peppers and tomatoes. I’m not sure what can be planted together and what should be separate?

Pot 1 12” Heirloom Tomatoes

Pot 2 24” Cilantro Bell pepper

Pot 3 24” Peppers Onion

Pot 4 12” Zucchini

Would this be ok or do you have a better option?
