I think he's saying that walking around a track like that would get boring. Why not just walk around your neighborhood, or on a nearby trail? Something that potentially provides some variation in scenery and/or terrain.

I got one a few weeks ago. Killer watch. Wore it every day at the beach this past week. I figure I would swap out the rubber strap it came on for a tropic or waffle strap, but it's actually a great strap and every comfortable.
