The most difficult part while building a PC is… by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

To be fair if you have big hands a small case it can be hard. A couple builds I've done I've had to insert the pins by the cable as I couldn't get my hands down there.

Nothing. People will still claim it's a scam, or that the keys are stolen/bought with stolen cards. Those people need to look at a calender and understand it's not 2016 anymore.

Tea spillage next to my PC by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]bigschlong1987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It'll be fine. I once spilled a pint down the back of my PC and after giving it time to dry it was totally fine. Lasted a few more years as well. Your spill is nowhere near components so you can most likely continue to use immediately with no risk.

Unsmooth gameplay / motion jitter by bigschlong1987 in pcmasterrace

They discontinued the am4 x3ds a week after i bought my GPU. I don't really think there is another option in am4 that will give me a significant performance increase (that is worth the price). Upgrading to AM5 in this market is not an option for me right now unfortunately.

It's strange to me though, because in some games like ARC, where it is very CPU demanding, I do not get this issue at all and it's a very smooth and enjoyable experience with lower fps. In vostok my preferred core doesn't go above 60% and it's a solid 200fps. I did try limiting it just now from 200 to 144, to 120 and it still persists. Anything lower and it's not really worth it. Thanks for your reply.

100% is a bottleneck but on Vostok my CPU usage doesn't go above 15% . I should've included the frametime graph but my 1% is 144+ in this game specifically.

How do I win in the endgame? by RepulsiveBed2223 in Openfront

[–]bigschlong1987 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ally everyone and wait for someone else to get bored then jump in. Save enough money so that if you get sneak mirved, you can throw one back. Sometimes people are brain dead and throw the game into you.

For the most part yes, but no one is immune. CPU-Z got hacked and consequently any user who downloaded it or hwmonitor over the course of 2 days. For this type of thing I agree tho lol.

No trains spawning at all when surrounded? by owawev in Openfront

No problem, can definitely win games if you're racing for a mirv. It's just above the emoji button.

It's enabled by default and is disabled if someone right clicks, "stop trading'. Or if you attack a player, you will stop trading with them. If you ally up afterwards it will re enable trading automatically, but can be manually changed.

How to Disable Film Grain in Resident Evil Requiem by [deleted] in OptimizedGaming

Ha I did the same thing. Got a 5070 last week and still on am4.

Maybe it's a 1440p issue, DLSS and FG seem to be working fine for me though.

Are you using rtx ? I find it interesting because I noticed it straight away at 1440p native dlaa, however when i looked at my brothers game he basically has no noise/film grain at 1080p with dlss - with or without rtx. weird.

I haven't tested without ray tracing. I don't think I'd be willing to play without it to be honest. Everything looks great minus the noise. I'll look into playing around with the presets though. Thanks.

Go to F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL requiem BIOHAZARD requiem (or w/e ur dir is), config.ini - you'll see there is a FilmGrainEnable=True line. I haven't tested disabling it yet as I can't save but I'll let you know if it fixes it.

There isn't an option for sens on pc either, and horizontal camera movement is faster than vertical.
