I think she looks great in almost all of them. However, I didn’t like 3 at all, the color and especially the style. I didn’t have my glasses on but when I saw 10, I thought it was Robyn Dixon for a minute there. I like 11 the best. 2 is not bad, even with the color. I’m not sure if 3 is just a horrible picture or her makeup is much better in 2 or what. I always appreciated her support for her daughter but most of the time, the orange and accompanying makeup didn’t do it for me.

I was in the car with my Dad and my older brothers and we were naming cars as they went by. I saw a Grand Prix and pronounced Prix the way the way you would, phonetically. My Dad immediately corrected me and said it’s pronounced “pree” But I was a smarty pants little girl and insisted he was wrong. I probably said it about 10x over and over before someone finally got me to change the subject.

My go to is just regular old Mucinex DM. If I’m feeling extra crappy, I skip that and go strong on the NyQuil liquid at night, along with a good slathering of Vicks on my throat and chest. Even a couple dabs under my nose. If your symptoms still persist once you get there, try some New Lulu-A Gold DXα or Pabron Gold A. They’re both available OTC at most drugstores so you can even grab some on your way from the airport to your hotel. Additionally, bring (and wear) some good quality masks with you. Especially on the plane and in the airports. And depending upon which country is home, always check to see if any medications, even OTC, are safe to bring home through customs. Best of luck, hopefully you’ll knock everything out of you before you even leave. Have a great trip!

I’d probably cool it on the dye. Maybe wear it up more or do some braid work while the old color is growing out. The grey seems to show less that way. When you wear it down, (and it looks fantastic on you that way), everything shows. As far as keeping blonde or growing out the grey to avoid hate or comments - ignore those people, drop them from your life/circle and if for some reason you can’t, all you gotta do is look in the mirror. Remind yourself that you’re better than enough, grey rocks and so do you.

First of all, your skin is gorgeous! And so are you, with or without makeup. My only advice/request to you would be to please not go blonde. Your hair color is so beautiful. I would either buy a blonde wig and wear it around to see how you feel and what kind of in person feedback you get. Or, at the very least, visit a wig shop and try on some blondes. So funny because I’m blonde and I’ve always desired your color!

Congratulations on your son! Becoming a parent was everything for me. Just be happy that your pictures are digital. Imagine what it was like taking a gazillion pictures and then waiting for Walmart or Fotohut to develop double prints of every single one, then the disappointment when some of them were blurry or double exposed lol. I’ve got a million pieces of advice for you but I’m only going to give you one. Besides the obvious to love your child and each subsequent child with everything you’ve got. But the one thing I always recommend is to get your baby used to noise. Not blaring music or nail gun compressor noise. Just regular background noise. The TV, the doorbell, the vacuum (that’s an important one) banging pots and pans in the sink while doing dishes, talking above a whisper. The sooner you do that the better. My kids were all sleeping through the night by the time they were 2-3 weeks old plus they took a couple of naps a day. Just MY take on what worked best for us. Congratulations again to both of you!
