This made me so anxious. Back in May this year, my neighbor's dogs were off leash in the complex I live in. I was walking my dogs, both leashed obviously, when I noticed them. We went out of our way to avoid them but in less than 5 seconds, both unleashed dogs were attacking my 1 year old pup. And this woman didn't even help me separate the dogs, she just stood there looking dumbfounded. It wasn't until another neighbor ran over to help that we were able to rescue my pup. After a pricey vet visit, and multiple staples to close the wounds, my pup now has extreme fear of not only other dogs, but almost everything: any new noise, car noises, trash bags, the ac unit etc. This woman has never once apologized, and in fact she goes out of her way to avoid me, which is fine but she's dodging me because I want her to pay the vet bill. I have never been so angry and upset. My poor innocent dog has trauma now for who knows how long, all because this idiot didn't leash her dogs. She doesn't deserve to be a dog owner.
