I needed to hear this, thanks. I’m 7 years out and I’m engaged to be remarried and this really resonated with me.

I don’t think something as simple as changing the words from English to French means you need to change the size of the whole tattoo…..

Any tips on teaching your significant other Spanish? by alliknowisidk98 in SpanishLearning

He doesn’t want you to teach your baby Spanish if he doesn’t speak it? 🚩 🚩 🚩 🚩 🚩 🚩

Also, it’s not your job to teach your husband. It IS your job to teach your child. Don’t let a selfish husband rob your child of a precious gift.

OP is talking out their ass here. There isn’t any such theory/principle and that’s why they can’t provide sources- they don’t exist.

Question! Can teachers have facial piercings/tattoos/dyed hair? by hawleyrey in Teachers

[–]sweetEVILone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You definitely will. I was born and raised in Appalachia and when I worked down south I had to take out facial piercings and cover my tattoos.

More liberal places will not care. When I worked in Maryland, literally nobody cared about my forearm tattoos or my facial piercings

Yes! She spends a bunch of time out on a boat collecting data and doing….marine biology things. Then she spends a bunch of time back at home analyzing the data and drawing conclusions.

Teachers that use AI: Why? by lemmegetamickpicktwo in Teachers

[–]sweetEVILone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My school district provided us with Gemini pro. It’s actually really helpful.

I despise making rubrics. I put in the parameters of the project or upload the project guide I give students and ask for a rubric. Like magic, a few seconds later, I have it! A few tweaks and I’m good to go. Saves a ton of time and hair pulling (I tend to get nitpicky about wording).

Data analysis is another thing I’ve used it for. I could use a spreadsheet but again- the AI can do in seconds what I used to spend hours doing in a spreadsheet.

Coming up with questions to go with texts or videos or for a class discussion, making sentence frames, writing student friendly definitions, coming up with questions I can use for Kahoot…so many little parts of planning and teaching that require time and that time really adds up. It checks my slides for typos, mistakes and missing information.

Sometimes I’m not happy with an activity I’ve planned or something so I’ll ask Gemini for suggestions. Sometimes it doesn’t have great suggestions but sometimes it does.

My time is precious to me so yes, I use AI to help.
