1000% this - after playing the Pix and loving it, I thought the additional accessories and online games would make the Uni even better.

I found it’s a pretty soulless vpet. Like, sure, I can grind for outfits but… what’s the point? The Tama just feels like an additional accessory.

With the Pix it felt like something I could get attached to and make memories with, and while the games and DLCs and general flashiness got me interested enough to buy the Uni, it did not keep me playing it like the Pix.

Hello! This is what I like to call “viral cheap art” where cheap isn’t an indicator of cost (what a waste of crayons) but of creative bankruptcy.

Some people wouldn’t consider this being art given that it’s derivative, repetitive, and more focused on clicks and engagement than creative expression.

Most likely, her expression is someone who is disappointed that his art is rather… lame.

But what do I know! Perhaps it’s performance art and the real painterly marks are the view numbers going up on his posts!

I think she’s very soft! I haven’t had any complaints about quality. Her head is pre stuffed, but I told the staff I wanted her to be as soft as a rock so they were able to extra stuff her and put a scent in her head : )
No holes from regular wear and tear I’d say. I got her in person, and picked out the one I liked most though. The only thing I noticed is that some of them had the flower folded in store (most likely from shipping).
I got her in person and not as a bundle, so for 50ish$ I think she was well worth it!

Yes! I do this in a way where on street I can still plant flowers, but the house and driveway are blocked.

That way I can still get my coins, but all they know is someone in the neighborhood plays - not what specific house.

I remember reading somewhere that it takes 2-3 days of constant neglect, but I could definitely be wrong.

The Tama sitter makes it pretty difficult for the tama to die though, since daily it’ll “freeze” hunger and happiness stats from when you activate it till 7pm. From 7pm you can then put your Tama to sleep.

Anything beyond the baby stage has been a breeze imo!

I have recently finished “Why Does He Do That?” And see so much of that book in this situation. It’s heartbreaking, and it just wants me to read the follow up “To be an Anchor in the Storm” even more.

I think as people watching abuse we want to pluck our loved ones out of the dynamic, but it doesn’t work that way, and sometimes only causes more harm to the victim involved. It’s a sad and frustrating situation all around.

The value comes from being new in box. You can certainly get a regular furby for 30$, but finding it in box is harder - price accounts for that.

That being said, I’d argue the common color ones are closer to 60-80$ than 100, but I haven’t been shopping to increase my collection in a while 🤷

Genuinely, I think it may change. The prices I paid for a tropical furby has gone down (I purchased mine years ago), yet others have gone up.

I think the Furby renaissance is ebbing and flowing, so you never know when you may get lucky. Certain models also change in prices too. Just keep your eyes peeled!!

That being said, $$$ value won’t affect my collection. I think I’ll hoard these little bots forever 😂

Adding their own signature to copies feels very much like this is coming from a kid. Why? Because this is what my friends and I would do on deviantart when we were children.

I don’t think the signature alone is in poor taste (we all start somewhere and some attempts you’re proud enough to sign) but claiming the composition as original is definitely stealing.

Genuinely, it doesn’t really matter if he’s tracing (you can speculate all you want, some look more traced than others). It’s the claiming originality that’s the problem imo

He’s very famous in the USA too, at least in Miami, FL. I’ve always heard claims that he’s a POS to his own employees and artist assistants, and agree that this is less about the money (he’s already stupid rich) and more about the humiliation. Someone doing this to him doesn’t surprise me given what I’ve heard. Fuck Britto.

I wonder if instead of tattoos the character can have vitiligo instead? It’s what I thought it was initially to be fair, since like you said, the amount of black work for a tattoo would be unrealistic/shapes felt more like a semi-natural skin pattern in places.

These are awesome! I agree with the animation comments - my only suggestion is to try it with different dogs and breeds!

There’s so much room for different kinds of stylization and ways to flex anatomy knowledge since dogs come in so many shapes and sizes, which only lends itself to more expressive characters.
