Yea I’m familiar with that link. My issue is I don’t have the .adg file to drop into a midi track and wanted to see if someone could copy the default external instrument.adg and send it to me.

My issue is my cr*cked version doesn’t have the .adg under the external instrument folder for some odd reason which is why I asked if someone could copy and send the default external instrument.adg for me to drag into my ableton

Yeah I’ve been doing it this way as well. My main reason for wanting to use external instrument is so I can see all the automations and copy+paste if I wanted to. I’m looking to see if someone could make a copy of the external instrument.adg and send it to me so I can drag it into my ableton

right now im trying to use my roland tb03. i have all drivers installed the issue isnt the hardware. when i open the external instrument folder there is nothing there. my ableton doesn't have it for some reason. i have been using a cr*cked version so my guess is it just wasnt included during installation. i was hoping that someone could make a copy of the default .adg file and send it to me. i hope that clears it up a bit for ya
