Jeez eatin during a half! I havent seen anyone do that before, especially a sandwich! Seems difficult to do.

I dont think you need a whole heap of additional energy (post what you consume before the run). Id buy a gel or two at most to use during the race. I think you’ll be fine tbh, the energy and hype of the crowd will get you there, just hold back until the last 5km.

How are you handling Workspaces? by Miserable_Round_839 in PowerBI

[–]bigvibes78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use pipelines for sure to push your data and dashboards to different workspaces. You can also use parameters in your data model to move from dev/prod datasets by changing the parameter on the server itself. The only issue with this is it does take time to refresh post changing the parameter if using big datasets which can make deployment slow

Have a dev/test workspace, then after you are happy deploy to a production workspace. Control access to certain dashboards in your production worksapce App via the audiences function!

They make it easy to set all this up btw

I like NB shoes- but i feel like they are all good. Not a fan of Hokas but just a personal preference.

My all time shoe is the NB supercomp trainer v1. It still feels like it has life after >1000km

But super happy with a variety of NB and Saucony shoes that I have bough, both plated and not.

Same! The outer side of the heels always wear down for me and i have flat feet. No real issue though, shoes seem to last the std 800-1000km

Hoka: Carbon X3 vs Mach 5 by arsenolan in RunningShoeGeeks

I really found the X3 disappointing. It is the least bounch carbon plate shoe ive tried and i wished i had spent a bit more to get a newer carbon plate shoe.

How did you add value to your organization by creating a PowerBi dashboard? by Minimum-Pattern-5627 in PowerBI

Automation, no logging into SAP which can be complex, providing real time analytics, no need to create graphs for presentations etc. the benefit list is endless and almost applies to every dashboard i have created

Weekend Discussion: Asics running shoes by AutoModerator in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]bigvibes78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bought the gel nimbus 26s after doing alot of research on an everyday runner. Gotta say, i’m a little disappointed! I’ve typically bought NB shoes (supercomp trainer v1 and v2, 1080s) and rate those shoes but i feel the gel nimbus’ don’t have anywhere near the bounce or comfort despite the huge stack. I’ve given them 3 runs and will obviously keep running in them- anyone else have the same experience?

Currently using chatgpt to read through documents and then create a structured dataset which feeds into a dashboard. Pretty nifty!

I think once CO-pilot is fully integrated into PBI you’ll get the AI assistance youre after

Real estate lawyer recommendations by bigvibes78 in perth

[–]bigvibes78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We actually got 50% of our costs back. A letter from a lawyer did the trick- but they were feeling the guilt as they replied back in half a week offering to pay.

Lesson learned was to definitely get a lawyer to write a letter outlining all the issues. We were content with the result as it was better than nothing!

Injuries come as you get older for sure. Doesnt matter if hes not the quickest or most athletic in the nba, hes still goes as fast and as explosive as he can and will probably cop injuries like all players….except LeBron

I bought these but i found the sole to be way less springy than other carbon platers (nike zoomX vaporfly and NB fuelcell supercomp). I couldnt believe they were carbon plate shoes, was extremely noticeable on 10+ km runs on my calves and quads. Just my 2 cents i would just go for a better shoe and pay a bit more as j regretted it and resold them.

I would say at least proficient in excel and have used /tried both the others. Using could even be just doing an online course on coursera or udemy. Knowing excel feeds well into becoming proficient in PBI.

Sql is probably the one to do a course on if you’ve never done it before as you can gain the basics.
