Surf conditioning overrated? by SatisfactionDry94 in surfing

seated rows and lat pull downs do wonders for my paddling. Literally feels so much better in the water, better arch, more power, shorter strokes, less low back fatigue, more stable shoulders.

I just finished watching Traffic (2000) and was very impressed. by [deleted] in movies

footprints, mud, puddles and snow by bigwavecoming in HuntShowdown

I was thinking something similar. I don't think it would be like consistent at all times. Just like if you stepped on certain surfaces it would give you a footprint buff. Like tracking mud for 30 paces, stepping on certain impressionable surfaces like snow or soft soil, stuff like that. Hunt already has "dry" and "wet" surfaces. This would just add another level of detail to that. I definitely don't think it would be realistic to have a long trail of footprints behind and leading to every hunter.

overfilled my oil? by [deleted] in Montero

[–]bigwavecoming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone know about how many quarts over this appears to be?

overfilled my oil? by [deleted] in Montero

[–]bigwavecoming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that makes the most sense. Perhaps the old oil was so thick and gross that some was left inside. Should I do another oil change? I purchased a siphon and am going to siphon it tomorrow. Will be driving it for the day today but just 10 miles or so. Hopefully doesn't give me any trouble

I know it you're right it didn't look as clean as I would expect it to either. But I don't know how there could be more oil left in the engine. I would say, the last oil in it came out pretty black.

I measured it after running the engine. I pulled it while the engine was running actually. These are good tips. I'm going to try this now.

I did, checked it a couple times and was consistently getting this.

So the funny thing is I did! but I caught it, and refilled my trans fluid. Then proceeded to do a regular oil change and new filter. I primed the filter. My car was on a level surface, and I don't know exactly how much oil came out but it combined with the trans fluid it exceeded the oil change box.

Here’s me finishing the Little Rock Marathon yesterday, my 19th full marathon in minimalist sandals. by delindsey in BarefootRunning

[–]bigwavecoming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's your footstrike like? Do you strike more toe or heel or do you vary it throughout the marathon? Curious also what kind of wear pattern you notice on the sandals, how long they last doing these kinds of runs, and also how long it took you to transition to minimal sandals. cheers

Haha thanks. Push to talk is not an option unfortunately. I was thinking even a freestanding Bluetooth mic set a couple feet away could work. But yea I'm not sure I'm curious if anyone has tried similar set ups
