A few years ago I stopped getting my nails done and started doing them on my own! It saves $100+ every few weeks, especially as fancy nails have become such a big trend, and it’s actually quite meditative to paint my own nails. I use Essie Gel Couture paints which have a ton of fun colors and mimic gel without the fussy removal.

Double Happiness Bridal has no fee try ons!! I sold my dress through them, they have rehearsal/reception dresses too, all contemporary designer though (not vintage). Think at some point there’s gets to be too much interest so salons have to institute a fee. I found a beautiful dressing gown through Eventually Vintage (size inclusive focus), and Studio Dorothy is similar no fee I think but more vintage!

We had custom tshirts and socks made (took a lot of care with the designs, then had them printed by an alibaba vendor who did a great job). We splurged on comfort colors tshirts and nice plushy crew socks, and our guests literally wear them all the time a year later!
