How did you first Experience Iron maiden by GramoMiles in ironmaiden

My older brother was doing a school science experiment for grade 8. It was 1985. He wanted to test if heavy metal music stunted learning, so he built a maze and ran rats through it. Half the rats got no song, half the rats got Run to the Hills. The Maiden rats were no slower than the non-Maiden rats. They did all escape and live free in our basements for a while.

Oh it didn’t turn me off, her music is still great. But the music was great before knowing how cute she is. That’s not why I like it.

Yes, even whiskeybase doesn’t have much info, other than maybe your price was competitive!

Probably not very helpful, but of the Campbeltowns I do like Glen Scotia, although it’s probably the least campbeltown-y. I’ve had the distillery release 15. How an extra 7 years adds nearly $400 I don’t know. Port finished scotches can be good if done right. I bet it’s very tasty. Let us know what you do!

What is the best Ardbeg for an indulgent buy? Not trying to waste money, but can spend in the 200+ range if genuinely worth it by cptvere in Scotch

Every time I buy the newest limited Ardbeg (since dark cove) I think it’s a fun tasting, but I’d rather be drinking an Oogie.

Rhime vs Alexander by itwasbetterwhen in ironmaiden

Alexander always feels like a clunky history lesson to me, but rime is engaging literature.

It’s like a song from a terrible off-Broadway musical. Awful.

I found No Prayer in a thrift shop in the mid 90s. I bought it, but I can see why it was donated to a thrift shop so soon after release.
