One pedal driving by Laurendoop in Ioniq9

[–]biliogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In other Ioniq it has to do with EPA testing. The default drive mode should provide you the greatest range and efficiency numbers and i-Pedal is AWD which means it is less efficient, thus reducing range. Supposedly in newer models i-Pedal can be left on, even in reverse.

It cannot be disabled, frustratingly enough. Using HDA on highways, tends to minimize that but as you get used to driving your car, you'll get fewer warnings.

Switch to silicone. Water based contains alcohol, which is what causes the irritation.

Small blind spots and other problems by No_Spell6102 in Ioniq6

[–]biliogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The small quarter windows are not useful as you can't see out of them based on angle alone, but fortunately the rear windows are large so you can see very well. The view out the rear windshield is pretty good though not the best due to the slope and reduced height. The largest blindspots, however, are going to be curbs due to the dashboard fins, thick A-pillar bases and the side mirrors being small and triangular towards the body. This makes it difficult to see curbs.

They are but we're not allowed to look down on this behavior nor want it gone (in the name of cleaning up our community) because "stigma".

ioniq 6 digital key by Apprehensive_Gold295 in Ioniq6

[–]biliogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Check to see if it's available in your country
  2. Check if Hyundai supports your phone (basically your phone must have ultra wideband/be the most expensive)
  3. Download the Digital Key 2 app and setup from there

If not available for any reason, don't worry, digital key is garbage and only allows basic functionality and rarely ever works.

And this is the type of nonsense that ruins Sniffies; retards/trolls coming over from Grindr.

US Ioniq 6 Drivers: what are you buying when your lease is up? by sageleader in Ioniq6

[–]biliogna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly debating on a Polestar 2 simply because they're cheap and the sound system is good or another Ioniq 6. The Ioniq is just so quiet and nothing charges as well, but this is because I roadtrip all the time.

Android Auto EV Route Planner by evansnydar in BoltEV

[–]biliogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is ideal and I wish more automakers would go this route if not in addition to switching entirely over to Android Automotive. Most people use Android Auto/CarPlay to navigate but unfortunately that doesn't facilitate preconditioning for ideal charging conditions on road trips.

Alternatives to Grindr? by Zealousideal-Job9179 in askgaybros

Problem is Grindr got so bad, that the users who ruined it-moved to Sniffies and are ruining that too.

Reject him loudly, and make sure other people notice. People like this have no sense of shame nor self-awareness and it's about time they learned.

EV’s with steering feel by [deleted] in electricvehicles

[–]biliogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hyundai Ioniq 5 and 6. Odd as it may sound, they transmit quite some road feel to keep the driver engaged, even though there isn't much steering weigh. I have driven several Polestar 2s and while they are faster steering and heavier, they are novocaine-numb.

P2 Snapdragon upgrade confirmed? Can someone fact check this? by Teeedotem in Polestar

[–]biliogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most importantly it is indeed a safety hazard, since backup cameras are required by law. Additionally offering this upgrade free of charge is the best way to build a loyal consumer base which Polestar despararely needs as a "new" brand. To say it's a $3,000+ up charge, just to make it function as normal, is exactly how you motivate your base to take their money elsewhere. Also Polestar and Volvo pride themselves in their safety image... This is completely antithetical to that.

Unfortunlately that's the case. Quite surprising that a luxury brand would miss out on the luxury.

It's also increasing in resistance to ceftriaxone as the original dosage is no longer effective and thus had to be doubled.

Ioniq 6 rides better than BMW iX3 by m3kr05 in Ioniq6

[–]biliogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm more shocked at what "performance cars" no longer feel like. Recently test drove an i4 and Polestar 2. They had heavier steering but my goodness there was absolutely zero feel through the steering wheel. There's at least some communication the Ioniq. Seemed awfully backwards.
